If it was real, it would have melted too often. Florida is and will stay in the 90's in the Summer. Real ice would be difficult to maintain here.

It was just a windowed time today. It was from 9 to 10 for GP. After that the "Wall Of Polos" did there there thing. It was perfect to be honest. All the rides had what I like to call "healthy" wait times. 20-30 minutes, long enough where you get the theme of an attraction but not to long. As always they let you hang out until you felt obliged to leave. They closed the rides at about 11:25 or 11:30 and the shops stayed open till 1ish.

I still don't understand the logic of having the area open half the day, then closing it, putting up the walls again for DD and reopening it 2 hours later.

Its a stupid logic in my opnion, but who am I to say anything.

I think thats stupid too they should just keep HP open.

I understand they want to close the ride and do inspections make sure its running good, but keep the stores open and make some money.

From what I've heard/read, it's because of several factors including Forbidden Journey having issues already in the short period of time and Three Broomsticks not being ready for Lunch/Dinner service.

They could put pipes in the fake ice and run cold water through them so the fake ice is cold.

Universal Chris, is the fake ice cold? Either way, it still wouldn't be real ice. Real ice would be too difficult in Florida.

No the ice is not cold its warm, at first I thought it was real.

That ice thing is what I thought was liked a shaved ice snow machine, maybe it is or maybe they changed it.

How would it not be ready for lunch/dinner? That is one thing I don't get either. They have a kitchen, and they have cooks, they should be ready to go.

I think once they get the Three Broomsticks ready, they may open it all day. But of course, the GO is only like 2 weeks away. They will need to get some softs of the restaurant done before or else they won't know how to handle the crowds. Lunch/Dinner that is. And only having such short softs in the morning, a lot of people are more worried about shopping and riding then eating.

I'm not sure exactly how, just forwarding what has been stated.

However, it is still acceptable for them not to be able to handle crowds. It is not the grand opening yet, it is a soft opening. This is when they do draw up the plans and practice executing them. They should be able to handle crowds by the 18th though.

I wonder if the ribs they are serving here are the same as the restaurant in JP?

Oh I'm anxious to try the food there. My point was if you only had like 2 hours in the park, would you sit down and eat for 30 mins or just run to the rides?
