Later in the show... I guess... no ceremony broadcast yet. They just completed the interviews with the stars which was FAR better than the media interviews yesterday. They got more info from them in 3 minutes than the media event yesterday was able to gleen in 30 minutes.

The Today Show broadcast is now. Also, WESH 2 is advertising day-long coverage of the opening events.

They must have tons of people already in WWoHP for the shoot -- they're in groups, wearing identical shirts, so perhaps they are VIPs are package holders of some kind. Those of you that are going and checking this forum -- GOOD LUCK! -- it's going to get really hot and crowded. However, get ready for rain in the mid-afternoon. Weather today is supposed to be just like yesterday.

I'm staying away from the Wizarding World, as massive impatient throngs of humanity make me homicidal. Besides I'm working today at "the other place"...in a village called "unity".

I cannot believe it's open. All those years of waiting, anticipating, speculating. Of arguing and scandals on this board, of meeting new people who share this quirky obsession. Remember when we were having Courtyard discussions? Or when we were drooling over those infamous helicopter shots? What about when security would delete pictures if you took them over the fence?
We've come so far, and I'm still in shock this thing is actually open.

I can't believe they even did this to such an amazing level. Goes to show that Universal can put on great attractions just as good as Disney. In fact, better than Disney in this case. Unbelieve Universal, AMAZING job!!!
