It dosn't look like they're done with it...

It's great that they finally added the paddles in Poe! Now maybe they'll get on a roll and with adapt the rest of the entrance area...

I've had some ideas on how to improve DC but I was convinced they'd never change the attraction. Now that they've at least added the Cedric banners, I'll work on making my ideas presentable. They're just thoughts though...

Thanks for the pictures! :rep:

Happy to see Uni is keeping up the area and fixing small problems.
Also I'm happy I can finally keep up with this thread :P

Bro, Butterbeer is like the Mickey Mouse Ears of IoA. Definitely missed out. You could've gone to the bar to get butterbeer with no wait.

Hi WWoHP thread! It's been a while! I kind of took a break from the forum after Grand Opening but I'm back and catching up. I have another 90 pages to go on this thread, but I'm excited to see what's new!

I've been really busy with work and life, so not much play time for me, but I got to go to the WWoHP again around mid-July with some family members that came to visit and according to them it was the highlight of their Universal experience and maybe even of their whole trip! They really loved FJ and just being in the amazingly themed land. The crowds were insane and they didn't get to go in the shops, but they still had an amazing time and thought it was the best part of Universal! The WWoHP is really a hit! :-)

Alright, back to catching up... I just wanted to say HI!

YES! Butterbeer is only sold at WWOHP and is really, really good. You could've gone to Hogs Head, which actually tastes better then the outside cart.

I had no idea they sold it there, the area was so crowded that it seemed like there was a line to get in everywhere. I'll have to remember that for next year. How much does a cup of butterbeer cost?

Yeah Hog's mead always has zero to minimal lines. Butterbeer's base price is around $3 and $4 for frozen last time I checked. Anyone think they'll lower prices now the crowds are thinning?

Some more WWoHP updates from @Attractions:

I guess business at Hogs Head Tavern has slowed down enough for them to put the barstools back: http://twitpic.com/2j3n1e

Wizarding World team member just told me they don't plan on selling the light-up wands anymore.

Glad to see the barstools return. Definitely brings back a realistic, personal experience. The light-up wands on the other hand, is bad news. I'm curious as to why they are done selling them.

Personally I wouldn't go over $30 bucks for a wand, which is already a stretch. Maybe they refuse to sell them at a lower price. Then again, this could be totally false becasue TM's are often ignorant.

That brickwork looks weird. Nice pic. How were the crowds today at the park?

It was weird unlike the usual crowds the morning was very light and the afternoon was much busier. The stand by queue for FJ was 15 minutes this morning vs 45 minutes late this afternoon. It was obvious the locals are rushing there in the afternoon to finally get some time with Harry. Every other ride in the park was never over 25 minutes which was nice for a change as well.

I also think the brickwork looks very good in person and is an ATTEMPT by Universal to make things better. This is not the Universal I have seen in previous years. They are keeping up with there new attraction and adding to it in small yet effective ways.

They should really stop wasting time and money on those bricks... They kill the forced perspective of the cliffs and they're pointless because right above them you clearly see more building and ducts (which are more apparent now since your eyes are drawn to that area thanks to the bricks). They should just invest a bit more money and put cliffs in that area!

Rant over.

I can understand where your coming from and I thought the same thing but once your standing there and see it in person it blends much better than it did before. But hey I am all for some more cliffs and rockwork!
