as a estemated guess the restraunt might close in march-may of next year and then stardust begins on it. now just a side idea but could they add the place to the hotel as a restraunt for it. just a long shot but still a idea but for now SHADDUP! And let's get back to topic. for me i'm willing to guess comcast will spoil us sour in hollywood but that just matter's on DM and potter. like i said i'm positive so i'm hopeful but yeah now we just talk about potterland and all that magical bull.

Saddle Ranch is very popular with both guests and employees and it will be missed. I want to say they would find a new place for it... but my gut says no.

BTW, is butterbeer carbonated? I want to find a reason to make me not crave it. (I can't stand carbonated beverages)

It's butterscotch flavored, that much I know.

Apparently it's one of the most delicious theme park beverages out there. Considering the Boysen-Apple Freeze at Disneyland (which is insane levels of great), that's quite the accomplishment.

In my opinion, the Boysen-Apple Freeze kisses butterbeer's shoes. I'm just not into it that much.. I can never finish the whole thing, either. Butterbeer, on the other hand, is just... wow. It is the most heavenly thing I have ever consumed. To make it simple, it's basically cream soda with some sort of creamy, butterscotch-flavored foam on top. A simple home remedy would be cream soda with some whipped cream on top. Good enough if ya can't get the real thing easily!

Also, if you like to eat at the Saddle Ranch you might want to get in there before the wrecking ball takes it down to make way for the new Hotel!

When was this announced and if it is happening(the saddle ranch closing) will it be this year or in a year or two.

There's many homemade recipes that are good!

My friend made one for all of us at her house before we headed out to the opening of the last movie. Mix of butterscotch and cream soda and a splash of caramel sauce, all mixed, then topped with whipped cream and a bit more caramel on top. It was SO GOOD.

Can't wait to try the real thing!

I wish I had gone to the press event, when they announced Potter would be arriving in Hollywood. Everyone in attendance was given butterbeer!
