What do you think guys, will we get an outdoor que for Forbidden Journey like Orlando? Also for some reason the Production Central store had Star Wars merchandise yesterday! I thought Disney had the rights to that.

Production Central has always had Star Wars merchandise (Marvel, DC, etc.).

They just can't sell merchandise that says "Star Wars at Universal Studios", but collectibles and things you can find anywhere else are fine.

Oh my... all of that.

Crazy that portions of Hogsmeade look more finished than Springfield.

Do you think it's probably cuz Potter's facades and exterior details are made off site?

Yes, we are getting the greenhouse like Orlando and Japan. You can see the foundations for the queue on the side of building visible by  the tour bridge.

Well also there's the fact that Creative has made Hogsmeade twice now as well.

Also, in hindsight it's obvious that they needed that building of Hogsmeade done for the Shrek queue because all of the other buildings are very on track for a 2016 opening.

I think the thing with USH is that we see a lot of our work stretched out over longer time periods with big bursts of activity then lulls while Orlando sees short timelines with rapid activity nonstop. We're thinking that the castle is going up in about a few weeks (year and a half from opening). Orlando had theirs somewhat prefabricated popping up less than a year from opening.

Yes!  I had a feeling this was new when I came to the park.  Great considering this is also located RIGHT across from the Wizarding World arch.  I also just compared this to an old photo and the new one is MUCH better than the old one!

Some people in the Shrek Queue actually thought the Potter stuff was part of the new Shrek update.

Yes!  I saw this when I went to Universal on Friday.  At this rate, it could go up faster than we know it!

I don't want this sudden increase in more progress to seem like it'll open next year though to some of you. There's still a ridiculous amount of work left to do. The Castle facades and details and the Castle rock work alone will take quite a while.

Definitely not implying that.  There's still a lot to do for real.  Oh yes, it'll probably take 6 months to a year for all that to be done!

Also, how is it one photo has the umbrellas and another doesn't?
Once they finished the pavement in front of Production Central, they also rearranged some walls. The umbrella you're seeing is in a new temporary seating area they sort of carved out of the construction zone.

Aside from minor display rearrangement inside, it's unchanged.

Anyone else notice that they've removed the signs on the construction walls promoting WWoHP's 2016 opening? Probably temporary, but I thought I'd point it out.

Thanks for the concern. But don't worry about me. I know it doesn't open for 14/18 months - in 2016. Just excited to watch the progress and report what I see.

I think we're all smart enough to understand that Potter opens up in 2016...
