The only reason Hogsmeade previewed without FJ was vacation packages that promised the experience to the land. With nothing but cast previews, I'm sure we'll see this entire land have softs after TM previews sometime next March or April.

I think Butterbeer ice cream is fantastic. I prefer the cold version of the beverage, though I haven't tried the warm version yet.

Here's a crummy photo I took of the barely visible Whomping Willow. The show building is almost enclosed, so visit the park soon for your last glimpse of this attraction element:

"The Chamber of Secrets has been opened. Enemies of the heir, beware." Nice to see some of the Basilisk heads have already made their way from Nassal!

Here's a later photo of a more recognizable show element for the Chamber of Secrets, taken from MiceChat:

Hi all,

Quick visit to USH this afternoon and noticed more scaffolding down from Hogsmeade near Shrek.  My guess is they'll complete as much of the perimeter of Hogsmeade as possible for landscaping purposes and so that it looks as inviting as possible to the Springfield crowds.  Progress on the entry arch, too.

While it may be appealing to Springfield crowds, I think the side facing Shrek is progressing quickly because it ties into the new generically themed Shrek queue.

I think with the amount of progress we've seen on that side, the Palm Tree Walk and Shrek queue might be done by summer.

Is it just me or am I expecting another Shrek closure for Late April-Mothers Day to finish it up by Memorial day weekend.

At this point I think it's merely being kept as a crowd eater. The more guests taken off the park paths, the better.

Not sure if you're kidding or not, but it's about the size of a human, if not a bit taller. It can't be too massive.

At this point I think it's been spoiled, so I'll say that's also just one of a few that'll be placed in the attraction. The Chamber of Secrets as seen in the films features dozens of those serpent heads, so here's a bit of size comparison:

That figure in the distance is Harry at about 4 feet or so. That gives you an idea about the size of the actual serpent heads, which are also partially submerged underwater.

Oh alrighty, that makes sense. The photo before just makes it look smaller lol. Can't wait to see it in person!

Why does this make me think that We might see the Arch and the area surrounding that open by july?

No. The only thing possible open is the perimeter wall surrounded by planters and pine trees to border the Shrek queue. The walls in front of the arch will not be open until cast previews or softs.

Our wizard world looked pretty much the same as orlandos during construction. Also does our archway seem a little bit smaller than orlandos. View attachment 53
