I don't know, Disneyland just closed for refurb major attractions now and there will be some other majors one in refurb for Memorial Day. Yeah I don't believe everything the CM's say, but the ride is closed for refurb now... we will have to wait and see what happens. Besides, the CM tell-all meeting is coming. Only a few days to see what's fact and what's fiction

They're required to put those kinds of warnings, even if they're slightly exaggerated. Better safe than sorry, as they wanna make sure as much as possible that people shouldn't be riding won't.

There's a new ride going in underneath SSFL as we speak. It's interactive, and the vehicles can go up to speeds of 120 MPH! Unfortunately you have to be over 16 and pass a test to try it out, but I hear it's quite fun!
