My local theme park is building something new, Pixarus, it's being build in a Helix of a wing coaster.

I love that European theme parks take the "theme" part seriously. Most American parks have really lost their way.
Funny fact, we call it a pretpark (fun park). This park still has some sparsely themed areas but they slowly are adding theming to them while expanding their offer. It clearly results in higher guest appreciation.
 
I think they'd see the same here if Six Flags, Cedar Fair, SeaWorld, etc. built more themed attractions, but they all pay more attention to spreadsheets than what guests want.
 
This ride is going quick. We got some nice detailing on the top.
Not sure the details are being picked up when on floor level but it looks cool.
 
Look at the smartly placed solar panel to save energy costs and get CO2 neutral.

And they didn't tear out a ton of trees or anything. Maybe Disney's ESG executives should take a tour and learn something important, as in the importance of trees and better ways to go solar.

Yep, if anything they planted a lot of trees to make it as green as possible. Efteling is even 80% trees (park) and they can't change that. They can expand (a bit) but they need to be very smart.
