I can see that being like that just about every day this summer. Not a whole lot of foot space outside the queues. The hordes will come, largely unaware of how few people can get on those two rides in an hour's time. Such a popular IP , and the family demographic comprising most of WDW's guests, should bring the crowds .

Dear Disney...

Walt Disney World guests are DESPARATE for new rides and attractions. What you’re already adding isn’t enough. Greenlight more asap.

Thank you.

Slinky Dog Dash has had nothing but positive reviews. It seems in general everyone had pretty low expectations for TSL and have been pleasantly surprised. Waits will die down once the normies stop flocking to the kid zone section of the park just because it says 'Toy Story' on it.

Quick story: My family went to DAK last night and got evac'd off NRJ. During that time, she started talking to some lady who had done Slinky during the limited soft opening the night before. She had nothing but glowing things to say and my Mom says she has heard more of the same from others. Apparently the exact quote the woman used was "Best ride in Disney World".

Point is, Slinky is getting overwhelmingly positive reviews and the only thing that will hold it back will be the wait times. I agree with you though about Saucers. I think once the dust settles next year and everything opens, Saucers will be under an hour on average. Still too much, but hey, better than 3 hours!

Was just going to mention the same thing. Since the 6am opening was unadvertised and people weren't camping out today like yesterday, I imagine there's next to no one there right now.

But don't worry, the new rides will be at 3 hour waits by 9 or so. :lol:

Posted just for information's sake....
Saturday's Touring Plans "Observed" (for the people that always make a comment about "posted" wait times):) Wait Time's average for;
Alien's Saucers; 127 minutes
Slinky: 271 minutes
Toy Story Mania: 84 minutes

June 30 calendar "observed" wait time crowd levels from Touring Plans;
Magic Kingdom ; Level 5 (low moderate)
Epcot; 4 (low moderate)
Animal Kingdom; 7 (high moderate)

UPDATE at 11:30 AM: Wait times on Touring Plans for Slinky & Alien Saucers are about half what they averaged on Saturday. It will be interesting to see what they do during peak afternoon hours. I'll check back then.

The above times I used are from TP observers, so they're probably in the ball park.

And this is why Disney is so crowded. It is full of DizNoid sheep. Anything Disney does is the greatest ever.
