At 1:45 PM, wait times on the rides at Epcot are much lower than usual. Guess the crowds migrated to DHS & TSL today, where the wait times are high on just about everything. . MK &AK seem normal though.

My point is if Universal would have done the same thing and left an exposed tan show building out in the open there would be 12 pages of comments about how terrible they are for not theming everything 100%. But, fans time and time again give Disney a pass. It's ridiculous and you know it's true.

@darkridelover, this was their only solution for exiting TSMM since the queue is all messed up after flipping around the entrance while trying to keep the ride running through the remodel. I agree its not that great, but the majority of visitors will never get this view. Those masses walking to HP from JP however.....

As I commented the other day on that Tweet, I sincerely hope that the FP entrance is not yet complete. With the double doors it does still look like a backstage entrance. And the walls could use a little theming.

That said, I do love the giant Uno cards.

I'm pretty sure the FP entrance is at the front of the attraction and is being reworked.
That being said, the exit from the ride is clearly from the back corner of the building based on the sketch of the land they showed where it winds back along the side, which is not themed with the fence or other backyard elements (except for maybe the uno cards)

I'm not going to excuse Disney for the "side door" fast pass, but it's not completely Unthemed, also the actual TSL is pretty incredibly themed for the budget. The lighting alone makes it A+. Finally, it's only been open a weekend and there is no reason to believe this building will remain this way forever.

Disney has examples where they don't go all the way just like Universal....I think Universal's current en-devours post-Potter have been rather well themed tbh

For the budget? It's a $10 million coaster and maybe $2 million spinner. That leaves like $135 million for a restaurant and theming.

There was plenty of room for string lights, I think.

Yeah so they are definitely inflating wait times. It said 145 when I got in line at 9:40 or so and it only took almost exactly 35 mins.

We get it, you hate the land. That’s fine and you’re allowed to have that opinion.

However, coming into this thread and basically just saying how much it sucks constantly isn’t adding to the conversation. We have said the same thing in the F&F thread.

Once GotG and Tron are open, I expect this to be the way i'd rank WDW coasters from most to least intense...

RNRC ≥ TRON > Everest > GotG > BTMRR > Space > Slinky > SDMT> Primeval Whirl > Barnstormer

TBH I'd put Space above Everest exclusively due to jank. Also too bad that GotG won't have inversions...

If you look on their tablets during the merge point you can see on the bottom there is a time listed actual wait time. It’s almost always 15-30 minutes less than the posted time. I was on ASS and the posted time was 50 while the actual was 28 which the latter was more accurate.

The land looks neat. I never said it sucks, just poking at the crazy bias like a few others are. When folks are already saying how the budget went in to the lights, it sounds a lot like Pandora. And the whole "Pandora is amAAAAZing at night" propaganda that fell flat.

Everyone is expecting E tickets everywhere. DizNoids rip on Universal for opening F&F, an inexpensive ride clearly meant to capitalize on a franchise quickly. Now, Disney spent a fortune on a family coaster, and a spinner. They deserve to take flak for it. Disney has been adverizing the hell out of this land for months. Universal didn't advertise hardly at all.

Both attractions have a target audience that is probably happy to experience the rides. It's just Disney has the 40 year old women saying a small coaster is the greatest ride in the universe. They were probably the same people crying as they left Flight of Passage the first time.

It's clear that Disney will be defended to the end for anything they do by their rabid fanbase.

I rode once more after. Still stated 145 mins. Actual wait time was 27 minutes.

I agree they deserve flack for it, but it’s not like many, many posters haven’t been giving them flack for 3 years. I’ve been vocal about my displeasure about how they wasted a lot of land on this.

I find the “all Disney fans are biased / brain washed / morons” type arguments slightly offensive.

Overall I think the land looks much better than I was expecting, though I had fairly
Low expectations.

I don’t consider myself a fanboy for any Park. I love and hate them
Both equally.

It used to be, but something tells me that disney crunched the data from My Magic Plus and realized how they can push more hotels packages and DVC sales at the expense of some of the general public in the parks and make more money overall.

but? DVC people don't get the 60 day fast pass window? I thought for some reason that only on site hotel guests got that.
I like fast pass in theory. I dislike knowing that Disney is manipulating my behavior. I have not experienced fast pass +, to be fair. I only experienced paper fast pass at Disneyland in the early years of it's use.

What is the point of this? To prevent more people from joining the stand by line so they can push more fast pass through?
