This is a very fishy situation. I still think there is a good possibility for this attraction to return. I've never been on it, but it had to interest many guests...right? Little kids would be in awe seeing the triceratop.

That was talked about quite a while back on the WWoHP thread. I think the conclusion was that it was just for map decoration, which is what I think, because a big boat would block the view of Hogsmeade. Anyway, :focus: Wasn't this thread about the Trike Encounter?

i seem to remember differently. There was a good bit of trail with that queue

And even if they can open up two of the paddocks with two Trikes. Fitting maybe 60 people in one at a time with ten minute shows you can easily get 720 people through or more in an hour. With three you can get 1000 plus no problem. That is good for a D ticket side attraction. It would be about the same or a bit better than Poseidon's Fury's capacity with no reset show times.

They could also take an easier way and make it a continious show type experience.

I was a lead at Trike back in the day and I can't ever remember ever calling in high hourly count, even with all three paddocks open. We were only limited to 35 people in each show paddock at a time, with an attendant monitoring the guest flow. However, we did our best to cycle the guests through as quickly as possible and keep the line moving.

And we did have a continuous show flow - the same 10 minute show repeating itself starting with the urine sample

Yesterday I took another look to the Triceratops Encounter, and I found out this:

Was it there also before? If it was, I didn't notice it!

Hmmm to me looks like something they could of recently made and are trying to keep the whole thing under wraps by adding camouflage to it (badly) LOL

It is a display for the wait times of the attraction, so we may have the possibility to see it open again!

That thing looks like a speaker, or maybe the wait time thing. But yay! The Trike is returning!

I want to get excited but I don't anymore too easily with this attraction until we see something solid.

If it is indeed a wait time sign for all we know it could be for a new path that will lead down to the water taxi doc for the big lines they are expecting.

There is a hole in the wait time theory just for the fact that the old one was an electronic sign.

Good find! It seems like Trike may indeed return soon. That file was from September 2008, I noticed. Have they been working on bringing this back since then? It seems like a long time for such a simple project.

Looks like the old Stroller Parking sign to me, and it looks too new to have been sitting out in the Florida elements for the past 5 years. Was it just to the left of the queue entrance path, and slightly behind the Trike skeleton?

I'm going to get my hopes up. It's unlikely that they would create a queue for IST from Trike... there's too much of a distance between the two locales as well as too much back stage service yard, with the Discovery Center in between. :-)
