What I’m getting from this announcement is that Indy will open 2028 at the earliest. We all know how long Disney takes on their overlays.

Mission Breakout had a decent timeline for an overlay. But that more than likely had Fiege and Gunn pushing Disney to get it open late May 2017 for that precious synergy with GOTG Vol 2.

Disney can build fast (relativity speaking) if they are motivated.

Yes, but that was a literal reskin. This is a LOT more involved. They basically will have to gut most of the scenes to pull this off.

My guess is spring 2025 for a closing time frame for ITTAB. As for an opening for Zootopia, I am going to hedge a bet for November 2025 to overlap with Zootopia 2

Not really getting a sense of urgency from Disney when they've taken a month and a half to demolish a flat ride. Surely this all could have been gone a week after closing?

I would never want Disney to rush a product just as I would not want them to drag things out unnecessarily.

Also, I think they stripped it for usable parts for other spinners at the resort first, hence taking their time. They knocked down all the games and the entry dinos overnight last week, so they can demo fast when they don't need to preserve.

I think a lot of people will be surprised at the pace Disney will move on this project. I know many are use to Disney dragging their feet on projects, especially during the Chepak era, but they want (and need) to get this project online as quickly as possible.

I think a lot of people will be surprised at the pace Disney will move on this project. I know many are use to Disney dragging their feet on projects, especially during the Chepak era, but they want (and need) to get this project online as quickly as possible.

Yeah, this thing is going to go up fast. It's expected in 2027 and Disney wants people to know they're serious.

Funny I was looking forward to the potential Coco land in the MK but I guess have to settle for Cars.
