Universal Orlando may promote the Cat in The Hat as a big star, but feral cats have got to go.

The Loews Corporation, which operates the three major resorts on Universal property, has hired a company to trap and get rid of the non-domesticated cats to protect patrons and workers.

It's not going over well with some animal groups, but officials insist they won't be euthanized.

The plan is to collect the feral cats that have been wandering around Universal property near the hotels and either find them new homes or relocate them.

Oh yeah, protect me from the cats... News people are so over dramatic...

It's good that they're finding these stray/undomesticated cats a home

Well to be fair some Feral cats can be very nasty. I have had my arms torn up from cats while actively trying to catch and save them. But yeah, you are right no guests are going to actively run into cats. Just happy as you said it is a win win and the cats should find a home or place safer than being around dangerous equipment and venues in the parks.

Well I guess we can kiss any Puss in Boots attractions good bye.
