I always consider giving Endless Summer a shot but we always end up at Cabana Bay. Maybe one of these years I'll finally do it lol

There's just too many amenities at a convenient price point for me to give up going there, even if the Endless Summer resorts are technically less expensive. I hope the South campus eventually becomes as walkable as the North.

I was just talking about how I really have heard great feedback about the Endless Summer resorts. I think the value pricing with the perks will really be the tipping point in the Orlando going from a “Disney vacation” with add on days at Universal to a “Universal vacation” with add on days at Disney. That really is the goal of Universal and the nightmare of Disney as the market share continues to shift. What you get for the price (especially with the family suites offered) really makes these hotels the go to over Disney’s value resorts.

And CLEAN. The housekeeping staff does an amazing job at keeping the rooms look immaculate.

Also, the front desk staff is some of the best. I wouldn't be surprised if they rotate between even the Prime resorts because there is no difference in how friendly and hospitable they are.

Dockside - Can someone speak to the noise of the hotel part of the resort? Are the walls paper thin and can you hear people next door?

Yeah they can be noisey. Wouldn't say paper thin but still pretty thin.

Hmm, okay.

I was going to stay there for our next trip to keep costs down, as we usually stay at CBBR (heard the food has gone downhill).

Walls are comparable to CBBR IMHO.

Is this a glitch? I've never seen these rooms at Dockside go for anything near this much. This is for 1 night this weekend.

Must be a glitch. The non AP rates posted for today for CBBR (much lower)and Dockside(a little lower) are lower. Probably higher rates due to the Christian music festival.

I’m shook by the rates for a week in June. So cheap?!

Specific question on the two bedroom suites - how separated are the two bedrooms? Is it just a screen between them? Or a full wall?

I can't exactly tell from the picture and trying to get a sense of if noise would carry between them. And if they'll have separate a/c and the like

The first bedroom is immediately when you walk in to the room, just like a standard room, so it's pretty out in the open, with the bench seating area to the right. The second bedroom is a totally separate room to the left of the bathroom sink area. I can't remember if it had separate a/c, but do think sound would carry between the rooms say if you had the TV up loud...but it was only myself and husband staying there with no one in the other room (free upgrade which was a lovely suprise!), so don't have a definite on that

That's very helpful, thank you!

Just the fact that it has a separate TV gives me an idea of how separate they are tbh

The 2 are completely separate, with walls/door that can be closed and locked. I can't speak as to how much noise shares between the suite bedroom/main bedroom as I stay solo, but I can say the back bedroom complete blocks the noise from the hallway. In the main bedroom/area I hear a consistent bleedthrough of noise from the hallway/other rooms, but the back bedroom is completely silent. I'm extreme sensitive to noise too so even a little bit of background is bothersome for me.
