Double post - but in Tim Tracker's most recent video it looks like there's a new shake at Richter's. Basically a Froot Loop cereal shake!

I've always been staunchly against getting a milkshake in such hot weather, but I may need to make an exception.

I also tried it. It is pretty damn good.

I'm always afraid my stomach will turn against me with so much dairy on a hot day lol

Interesting development here - Bob Marley's is no longer available for dining reservations!

Hopefully a bug online, or maybe they're just no longer doing them at all?

The Kingdom Insider on Facebook is reporting that Finnegan's is closing for year long refurb starting in Jan. Anyone hear anything about this?

I hope so, it could use it.

The menu refresh is decent, but the interior has been blown away by IOA and Epic's restaurants.

So I have never actually eaten at Finnegan's - but what could possibly need to be done that would require closing for a full year?

Are they going to completely redo the kitchen maybe?

Who’s Kingdom Insider? Do they have a reliable track record?

I feel like most if not all of our old go to's are gone (Scotched Eggs, and Potato Onion Webb) and portion sizes have dramatically come down (Guiness Stew). Personally I'm hoping they revisit the menus if they are gonna go down for an extended period

I liked their food better before the last revision. The two times we ate after the revision were disappointing, so I wouldn't be
sad if there was a refurb and menu redo. We do love the atmosphere though.

Those were my go-to's as well!

In June, Scotch Eggs were off the menu but were still part of an appetizer. Potato Web was on the menu!

I just looked and they are both gone. Ugh, I love this place, but even the ambience isn't good enough without those...

I swear I had the web a couple months ago and when I asked about the eggs they said they were off the menu but could make them.

Went two Sundays ago and was shocked to see the web off now, didn't bother to ask about the eggs since it was time to go into the rain and fog

Confirmed by multiple team members on social media and in person last night. Bartenders/servers will be moved to other locations, but entertainers are out of a job until 2027.

From what I hear from other sources, yes. All these O.G. restaurants showing their age, Lombards is up after this.

Talking with other regulars last night, we're all terrified Finns will get the "Cracker Barrel"/"modern McDonalds" treatment, which would be a real shame. The last great 1990s era themed bar not located in a water park.

Hopefully they do it the right way, keep the same basic Irish bar theme that you see in American Irish ethnic heavy NYC, Pittsburgh etc.
,and just refurb the worn out areas. And they need to get back to the American Irish menu that they've strayed from in recent years.....
The results of their last long refurb was disappointing. The food quality/choice regressed.

Agreed on the menu, miss that Scotch egg. But technically not a basic Irish bar theme--it's a replica of a specific bar in some long forgotten 70s gangster picture that even as a 25-year-fan I can't remember anymore. Still it would be a shame to lose that.

ETA: Grok helped me out, actually want to see it now, same director as French Connection/Exorcist.
