Crews have begun work on the hotel's fourth floor. We saw several workers on site when we visited yesterday afternoon.

Even without any theming this is a cool conceit for a rapids ride, despite it being somewhat odd that the major visual setpiece comes at the beginning of the attraction rather than the end.

Wow, wasn't expecting something this thrilling in a kids park! Will probably be the most thrilling attraction there.

It's definitely a much better centerpiece attraction than Coast Cruise or Duplo Playtown Mound.

I was at the work site yesterday and stumbled upon a few updates. One of the updates I discovered were uncovered trains for the Jurassic World coaster. A month ago, I mistakenly claimed the coaster would be a Vekoma junior coaster model, but this confirms it's another Zierer coaster for the park.




Also, it was a pleasure to run into Diservations at the site yesterday, and I look forward to your future updates/photographs of the park!

I spotted what could be a new ride vehicle at Universal Kids Resort yesterday (the banana shaped object). The green, wrapped items are the Zamperla Watermania barrels we previously photographed.

After chatting with X's Aahs_n_Oohs, we've come to the conclusion that it's not a new ride vehicle. It was always there, just wrapped much more loosely. We're fairly certain that's Patrick Star hugging the side of a Watermania barrel.

The bottom half of SpongeBob's Rockin' Tug has arrived in Frisco. And crews unwrapped one of the aerial flyer's ride vehicles.

Hey everyone! Here's a few updates.


Here's track for the Jurassic World coaster. The track perfectly matches a Mack Rides Youngstar coaster model, and Universal has used this model in Hollywood and Beijing as Flight of the Hippogriff. I expect this coaster to be a near clone of those coasters, and the Zierer coaster trains I posted earlier will be for Trolls.

A closer look at the entrance where you can see the Trolls coaster rising up on Sunday. Today, I noticed the lift hill and first drop was complete, but I couldn't find a good angle for a picture without getting run over.
