Oh, Im loose as a goose.

Forgive me for not being much of a wild speculator. We know Universal bought that land. We pretty much know what it will be for. Now, can and will I speculate on what may go on that property? Absolutely. I have an imagination.

In my mind, Universal acquiring SeaWorld is so far fetched that it seemed to be off topic at the time. I see y'all's points. Do forgive me.

The irony is...one of Comcast newly acquired jointly owned company is building and developing VR attractions with another company for theme parks in China. It just seems interesting that other companies are being overworked and makes sense why Comcast is jumping on acquiring companies of the sort who actually have the capacity to build and develop.

I rode the kyary pamyu pamyu overlay of Space Fantasy at USJ last month, although it was an interesting experience, I wasn't a huge fan. I would reserve the technology for limited overlays, I don't think i'd like a permanent attraction using it.

Hmm, interesting. A part of me doubts anything WNW is announced before it's closure (I would love to see if I'm wrong) so color me curious.

That's when Comcast's 2nd quarter earnings call is.

Comcast Corporation will host a conference call with the financial community to discuss financial results for the second quarter on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time (ET). Comcast will issue a press release reporting its results earlier that morning.

Is there any chance the new property could hold two more theme parks instead of one? Is it even being considered? I keep thinking if I were Universal I would want as many parks as WDW. If so, then park number four would be in my thinking as I worked on number three. Maybe eventually buying more of the surrounding property.

I thought based on the expansion plans, the new park will be roughly the same size as IOA, but I could be wrong.

I think they see WDW as a model of what NOT to do. Disney is massive and really can't support 4 parks currently. An argument can be made that they've sat on their laurels the past decade and that's why they're in this position.

What I'm curious is how Comcast will handle this third park. Will they consider this new one the flagship since they have a complete hand in its inception? Is it meant to be their Magic Kingdom?

I'd rather have a water park and a massive theme park with plenty of room for expansion.

I think 4 parks is too much and 2 isn't enough. 3 seems to be the sweet spot.

Disney built Orlando with their parks. Magic Kingdom has carried people into the other parks and filled them nicely. I don't see the problem as how many parks but rather in maintaining the parks and the property as a whole. WDW got complacent, content to be the cash cow of Disney Inc. Too much profit heading to the parent company instead of reinvesting and maintaining.

The park needs to be their magic kingdom in level of attractions or broken into two parks. The fact on a slow day I can do everything in both IOA and USF isn't a good thing.

I wonder how big the third Park will be in comparison to the other two? I think they are still working on what will go in it so function might determine size. Hopefully they don't go putting in a safari. Those really eat up real estate. :D

I agree, but in all fairness I can hit most everything in any two Disney parks on a slow day too. Three if you count DHS as a theme park these days. :D

Given the new location, they won't have the height restriction and I'm not sure about this but they could possibly have a nightly firework show.

Given the new freedom they'll have, I can't wait to see what direction they take.

I've hit up the headliners in all four parks in one day before. Never again.

Have done that many times back in my WDW AP days. MK, AK, Studios and EPCOT in that order by car. It was easier back in the fast pass days.
