That's one hell of a refurbishment for the Dog Fountain.

Almost looks like a total rebuild.

one would imagine they will have some sort of set up soon for getting a new cup (or a new sticker) when you just had one the day before at a discounted price...

yeah its not really worth it unless i can use the cup multiple days without paying full price again. i never spend that much on drinks when i go to universal.

Just cause you can't come the next day with the same cup and scam the system doesn't mean it sucks. I'm pretty sure they'll have a refill sticker with a new RFID chip eventually for people that have already purchased the bottle. Also, I think it's actually really well priced for the variety of product you're getting. Especially if you're a family and plan on sharing for the day.

@OrlandoInformer is reporting Meal Deal cups are getting replaced with the Freestyle cups. Not bad IMO, even though I never have and never will use the Meal Deal.

The Freestyle cups sound like a great idea, and $11 for a whole day is very reasonable IMHO. Though I'd never spend a dime on one; I've given up soda, especially at theme parks.

RFID chipped, 1st machine of the day you touch with it activates it. Machines will know exactly what you got from where and when for the entire day. Refills limited to every ten minutes and to the size of the cup.

I was just thinking does this make Universal like roller coaster tycoon.They can track the cup all day and know where you are what rides,bathrooms and shops you visit ect.

FWIW, the deal for refillable soda was always for one day. It's just people took advantage of it to use it for more than just 1.
