Oh, yeah, that is new and wasn't there just a few days ago!

Here's the old version for comparison:

While it kinda fits the rest of Citywalk I think that new sign is pretty damn ugly. Old one all the way

I think they installed in on Friday. I been to the park everyday this past week and just noticed it Friday night. I don't think it's even plugged up yet because as you could see it was off when I snapped that picture.

They should have continued those metal beams to span the entire bridge..it's kind of random...but it is a welcomed change I suppose

That's what I'm suspecting they'll do. Just having the "Welcome to UOR" part of it like that makes it look weird.

This was my (quiet) observation too. It would have completed the streamlined look. Even extended panels echoing the current background would work.

I'm 99% sure that they're going to use that metal plating on the whole bridge. They already have brackets hanging for it.

Great news! LOL, I guess we all overlooked the ugly pipes jutting out of the end of the current sign indicating more something. Thanks Jwhee.

Yes, it's gotta go-all-the-way. Hopefully they do the other side too. That thing always looked cheap and out of place to me, more fitting to an off brand gas station.

^ Are those yellow pipes a sign that they are extending it or have they always been there?

I think a big gray cyberdyne looking bridge the second you walk in is a giant bleh. The tan was warm and inviting, also is a prominent color of USF as a whole. Made you think "oh yay I'm here". It really isn't a big deal whatsoever but it's kinda like replacing those purple gates with all the characters on them on the road to disneyworld to gray signs with character silhouettes and the words "didney whirl" above them

They're new so it's got to be an extension.

Not a big fan... I liked how the old sign was nice and welcoming with Palm trees in the background.

i'm not a fan. Its too cold and industrial. For a place like Orlando, the warm colors worked better.

You should call up the company that probably created it and give them a piece of your mind. (ask them if they created it first)

http://www.signproducers.com/

They created the majority of Citywalk signs.

Like the sign a lot, fits more into CityWalk.

Talking CityWalk, will we see more plants and trees soon? I'd love to see some medians with tress and such to add shade and some visual break up.
