After almost a year away, Universal Orlando has moved the Lew Wasserman statue to its new home in Central Park in Universal Studios Florida. The statue was originally located in New York but was removed last year to help alleviate traffic at its location, especially with the parade route.

Characters now added to new Universal Orlando resort entrance signs

The screens for the new Universal Orlando resort entrance signs now display characters from Jurassic World, Harry Potter, DreamWorks, and Transformers. The new digital signs are placed at the resort's entryways, but currently, only the Turkey Lake Road entrance and the Vineland Road entrance feat

Attraction-wise, right now I think these should be top priority (especially for when the Epic summer crowds roar in):

• Simpsons Ride desperately needs better projection. The screen is so, so blurry now.
  
  
• River Adventure animatronics still need some help.
  
  
• Forbidden Journey needs to re-sync the audio with the screens (and the screens in general need replacing).
  
  
• Cat in the Hat has been getting the E.T. treatment it seems as I've noticed animatronics and effects slowly but steadily looking better, but it still needs quite a bit of help (primarily the sideflipping Thing needs actual eyes (they're just blank right now and it's quite creepy), and I'd love to see the clotheslines restored). Also just needs some audio improvement, it's very quiet at a lot of moments.

If the rumors of the impending closure of Simpsons is true, I don't see them making any further significant investments into the land or attraction beyond the essential operational costs.

That said, I'm hoping everything else you mentioned gets implemented sooner rather than later. River Adventure and Cat in the Hat could really use some attention.

Sometimes it's just projector bulbs at the end of their life cycle needing replaced. While they're quite expensive, they're an easy fix, and for something like Simpson and DM that are still probably going to be around for another couple of years, that's an easy fix. I don't see them tearing Simpsons down until RRR replacement is up and running for a bit.

Wow, back in the 90's that tiered wall was the main entrance sign to the park. Ever since its been covered in bushes. Cool to see them using it again.

Universal Orlando has started building a large marquee at the resort's Kirkman Road entrance. The new sign features Universal in big, white letters. The signage resembles how the entrance appeared in the early 90s before it changed from a single theme park to a multi-park resort.

Looks very nice. They're also slowly working through the garages now to clean them up a bit. A lot of the parking signs are in rough condition, so I'm hoping they're replaced soon.

Also... can someone tell UOR to lower the brightness at night for those new LED screens on the moving walkways?
