You can if you want...it serves no purpose. I don't watch the show so I have no idea what it was for.

They had to create a 3D experience that tied into Universal's marketing. The idea of this was that Universal has many different worlds that visitors can be a part of. You walk through the curtain to the Harry Potter section and people could pose with wands and other Potter merchandise, then walk thought the other curtain and get wrapped in Spider-Man's web and then finally take a picture with Minion gear for their Minion Training experience.

To be honest, it really doesn't work without the merchandise they integrated into this. Also, to be placed inside the parks really doesn't work either, it would make a bit more sense in an airport or something. If you want to pose and pretend you are in Harry Potter's world, why not just go to the Wizarding World and do the same thing?

Based on the little I know about you from here, yes, I imagine you both do :)

I like to see the stunts part, I always wanted to actually do the stunts shown on the show itself, but never would have wanted to eat the weird things and therefore never tried out. Only reason I had any interest in it.

AT&T brings faster mobile speeds to Universal Orlando

AT&T is boosting mobile Internet speeds at Universal Orlando with a "Data Superhighway."

Officials today at the wireless carrier said they activated three 4G LTE mobile Internet cell sites that will allow their customers faster download and upload speeds for pictures, streaming music, video, social media, and other content on their mobile devices.

"Each of these cell sites on their own has more capacity than any other individual AT&T cell site in Florida," said AT&T spokeswoman Gretchen Schultz. "Together [they] create a "Data Superhighway" that allows more data traffic to flow on these three sites."

A February report by RootMetrics, an independant group that measures mobile performance, showed AT&T offered the fastest data download transfer speeds in Metro Orlando.

However, some of the wireless carrier's service in the theme park area is spotty.

The RootMetrics report shows average AT&T data download speeds at Universal Orlando fluctuate between 29 Mbps (enough to stream music) to virtual black holes with speeds of 90 kbps -- especially around the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

The crowds of visitors at Universal Orlando using their mobile devices at once in such a concentrated area will certainly lower a wireless carrier's performance. Obstructions, including rides, trees, and other large theme park building will slow speeds to a crawl in some areas.

It's great how they keep all the facades and scenery in good condition, compared to other parks it makes me want to return as it keeps the experience going.

Yep, it's really unfortunate that this shoebox of a building is the first thing you see inside USF :-(

The front of USF desperately needs a Buena Vista Street-like redo.

Bathroom renovations continue as the "San Francisco Cannery" restrooms are next up per a new permit.

What is the reason for the picture of this building? Was it recently painted?

I like that little Art Deco building. Very reminiscent of 1920s Hollywood.

Sweet, these bathrooms needed it tremendously. Very high traffic cans, especially during HHN
