I think I remember the Hollywood Ticket Outlet having a tall billboard before it was demolished.

Yeah, definitely would look corny like...it would be kinda cool but I feel like the coolness factor would wear off I just wanna see a high quality detailed icon I'm so excited.

There's no way it'll be a skyscraper in my opinion. The forced perspective would be horrible!

And Bob Dylan, you never fail to keep me on my toes I'm curious what you mean by it's prettyness might affect it's icon status. Is it because so it won't be in direct competition with the Globe or because it'll look too similar to DCA's icon...? So curious

On a cold day in hell, they would. I come to USH to get the Universal Studios experience - not the Universal Studios experience with a dash of Disney. I'll be very unhappy with Universal if it's The Carthay!

Is it really that similar looking? Not suprised haha. I mean, the metal construction framing is extremely similar, but really, any tower/theatre with a similar shape will look like the Carthay in early stages when being constructed. There are so many other famous and more ornate theatres than the Carthay thay Universal can easily pick from, or just make something original!

I'm guessing it'll be an Art Deco looking tower, with a similar feel to the Carthay, but obviously not exact. As long as it's different and looks great, I'm happy

I don't believe anything that comes from Screamscape. I almost laughed when I read the "info" regarding Carthay coming to Universal. Why would they do that? -_-   I didn't believe it for one second.
