Being on a Universal Forums and people be like a I prefer the Disneyland theme parks is wild, I'm not attacking the posters but just insane to be on like the biggest Universal Fan site and people be like "I prefer the competitions product mostly"

If you go on some Disney fan sites it’s same thing with people preferring Universal. I think the idea being tied to one company is an interesting concept.

I love both so I have no bias one way or the other.

Same here. I like both, but for different reasons, which is fine because the reasons give me two vacation experiences that are quite different from one another.

I prefer neither, I like hopping around and switching my APs between UO, WDW, and DLR. I usually hold United, SF and Dollywood passes too. I think Universal still has some growing up to do. Here are some things they could do to improve.

1. If you are going to compete with Disney you need to build more no height limit attractions, shows, dark rides, etc.

2. Make Facial ID better, make it more wide spread and quicker, that way you aren’t constantly pulling out your pass.

3. Quicker, more reliable bus transportation to VB and intra campuses from the resort. I’ve waited over 30 min far too much for a VB transfer and just drive over to Epic because it’s worse. 20 min or less is the expectation at WDW for your bus to arrive, needs to be that way at Universal.

4. Want to be a theme park resort? Then keep at least one park open until 9 pm every night. Gives the tourists thing to do, gets locals to come after work.

5. End each day with a bang, every park should have a night show to end the day.

6. Fix mobile ordering, you make us all do it yet your experience is worse then Disney.

They are getting much better with #4 and 5 but not fully there yet.

They need to fix Citywalk as well. Their restaurants are just largely not at the quality that it's a destination the way that Disney Springs is, unfortunately. Same with entertainment in general that isn't just drinking. They tried with the Escape Room concept they had but really swung and missed on it.

The Escape Room being a failure will never stop baffling me. Escape rooms were a simple money printer and they had iconic IPs to work with! But they tried to get cute with it and completely change the entire point of the concept. Mind-boggling whiff. I love escape rooms and Universal and the IPs used, yet I have no desire to step foot in there.
