overall, I enjoyed it. Some issues. Will get into it later. May prefer Stella by a smidge.

What's the walking to Epic Universe experience like? Seems more difficult with the addition of new roads.

Big negative. There really no option.

What do you think the reasoning was to not include walking paths/bridges in the development of these 2 hotels? Would it just not work the way all the roads are?

Snl Season 47 GIF by Saturday Night Live

Embarrassingly short sighted of Universal/Lowes to not think people will want to walk to the brand new park across the street. I suspect Terra Luna will be least booked on-site hotel because of it.

I’m sure they’ll get a taxpayer funded bridge across Kirkman to connect the two for another Garden Walk.

I heard that it is planned in the future, how far, who knows? It took a while for CB to get a bridge.

Can't risk walking on public paths in such a high crime area! /s

Probably should have expected this what with the traffic circle and Kirkman in the way. But at the same time, it is a loss for them not having an easier means of walking from TL.

Terra Luna is not really all that close to the entrance of the park. It would be quite a hike even if it were possible.

It’s about the same distance Portofino is to USF, and that’s not even the furthest hotel guests walk from at the North Campus. Hopefully a pedestrian bridge across the Kirkman extension is in the long term plans as others have said, as it just seems silly to have it so close and not be walkable.

The park and Helios look great by themselves, but everything else seems to be lacking. The hotels look just okay and there's next to no landscaping anywhere. Driving through UO North feels like a jungle. UO South is barren and lifeless. Hopefully this gets better in the future, because it's not a great first impression.

Being the furthest away from Epic's core also has some drawbacks. Despite probably having the best angle of the Epic property of the two hotels, most of the views are off-property.

Portofino has a long walk, but its beautifully landscaped, and thus worth the effort. These hotel walks would be mostly sun baked concrete with little to no ambiance. Kind of like the walk from Epcot hotels to DHS, which is rarely attempted.

In addition to navigating the elevated traffic circle, I wonder if part of the pedestrian unfriendliness of Terra Luna is because sidewalks would make it pretty easy to walk to Chick-fil-a or other things on Universal Blvd. I would totally walk there, but I also have a skewed concept of what I consider to be a walkable distance.

Could be double-edge sword of keeping guests in, and loiterers out.
