FWIW I actually think an eticket would serve the land better at Epic than a theatre show and thats no shade for the show i bet its awesome, its just the land is somewhat is light on rides and another Eticket would be better

Epic is going to have at least three E-tickets. It needs the stage show.

The show is indoors? Plus there's a giant restaurant right next door and a few different shops. It's not like the land lacks indoor space.

Well yeah. I'm arguing in favor of keeping it.

Another thing: Coming from the northern part of the US, Florida heat can be brutal. With how large this park is, there’s going to be a lot of walking to do throughout the day here. I want at least one show so I can still be entertained while just taking a damn seat for 30 minutes lol. This show coming should be a no brainer, and a Monsters show I bet could be great too.

Where are you getting 3 from there's at least 4.
And I was talking about what the land needs. It has 1 E-ticket with a height restriction, 1 D ticket Flat ride with a height restriction, and a C ticket boat ride. A large capacity indoor E-ticket ride instead of a Theatre show that has a much lower capacity per hour (that's IF it remains popular, when shows tend to drop off much quicker) would help be more helpful to get more families into the land. Queues have AC and keep people for much longer anyway.

There's a theatre show at monsters and the fountain is set up for about 1000 ppl won't be an entertainment shortage.

Is capacity for a show with a theatre this size really low on capacity? This theatre looks like it could fit 2000 I think, with 5-6 shows a day that’s 10k people. Add the massive Waterworld stadium here and those can suck up crowds if full. They aren’t that low but if there’s just 1 singular show then it can get overcrowded and hard to see, or worse, needs a queue.

This park seems very balanced show wise at opening, I hope Epic Universe is the same!

I watched a few POVs from the park. Some thoughts:

First, Jurassic World Adventure looks like a spiritual successor to the criminally overlooked Dinosaur at Animal Kingdom. This is a very good thing. That Indominus chase through the jungle already makes the revamped finale at USH's Jurassic World ride look archaic. Ideally, Kong would be axed to make room for this at IOA, but that's probably a pipe dream considering that ride's age; I honestly wouldn't even mind River Adventure leaving at some point if it meant we got this instead. That ride is just continuing the deteriorate. Also, if Dinosaur is any indication, these animatronics would likely outlast those of River Adventure.

On the other hand, Journey of the Dragon Warrior looks a little underwhelming. The pacing seems dull and the animatronics look somewhat stiff for a brand new ride; not good when you're trying to portray a kinetic and lively world like that of Kung Fu Panda. I think it's clear that Disney remains a firmly ahead of Universal in the domain of smaller-scale animatronics (to be expected, given that company's heritage). Still, I'm very intrigued by the idea of an indoor land themed around KFP. I think something of that nature should find its way to Universal Orlando in the near future; maybe in the place of Lost Continent or KidZone.

Anyone have a link to a tour of the Jurassic World area? Only seen pov of the e ticket ride, but there's another ride, shops, queues, etc that I haven't seen yet. Thanks! :)

Side note: the other ride, Jurassic Flyers, might not be open yet? Saw a picture of the estimated wait times and it said it was closed.

EDIT:
Found this video (below), which shows a bit of the queue for the e-ticket.

It looks really cool, but I think even this is the unfinished version. It seems like someone (eg main character, Hiccup) is supposed to be riding it. There's back stage footage of someone on the dragon, which you can see here around the 24 second mark:

Unfortunately the theatre only has capacity of 740 plus some Wheelchair accesible seating, so even if fully packed for each show its only 1500/hr if they did two 18-22 min shows an hour. if they did it less frequently like you suggested like waterworld thats less than 5K a day if every show is sold out.

I was suggesting something like a boat ride in the ball park of Pirates or JP RA which have a 2200+ Hourly capacity and that has much less of a height restriction would probably benefit the land more.

Now that you mention I can’t tell, but I lean towards no.
