Ok, They are not welding these. Assembly by diver only. The pic below shows what comes off the back of the work boat and it is just an airhose. There is a compressor and portable generator on that boat but no welder. Sorry I have to dropbox these but I really hate posting pics here due to the size limitations and don't like photo sharing sites either.

They built a control tower out of scaffold, with the length of extension cords on this they could move the controls anywhere on the waterfront so I am sure this is for testing

Universal needs capacity to divert crowds away from houses when they can. If they opened harry potter for HHN they can run this.

If they run something for HHN, it won’t be the normal show. It’ll be something for HHN that’s shorter/no pyro

You sure that’s not for the F&F grand opening. Have they had booths for those things in the past?

Yeah, but that still means it could be for either show. I just don’t know if a proper booth has been used for the grand openings in the past.

What interests me, is the two extended structures to the left and right of the main platform.

They seem to me like areas to where we may see mist fans, but that I am truthfully not sure.

Either way, holy crap this project is blossoming.

I like how the bushes are the speakers and it's clear it's standing room only.
As with most of Universals entertainment I expect this to be a short but sweet offering multiple times a night.
