My dog agrees with you (from the bedroom closet).
To me this seems like Pokemon will get its own segment in the lagoon show. I also wonder (and hope) if it means Pokemon has also been fast tracked at USF to replace Simpsons.

It “means” they tested a fireworks shell that looks like a pokeball.
I am pretty sure this was just a visibility test and has NO reflection on what we will actually see when the park opens.
Yup, just like when the first drone patterns were tested with odd shapes.
Also, saw someone on Twitter mention that putting fireworks behind Helios is "stupid" because it'll get blocked by Helios... but people forget that Cinderella Castle is a smaller height and people can watch it from as close as 100 ft. in front of the castle. At Epic, the closest people to the hotel from the central fountain viewing area is double that at 220 ft.
