Today has been a crapshow with downtime.

I'm so sorry. Yesterday everything was working beautifully bums me out we're back to square 1 again after only a day

Just for reference, as to how much downtime can vary:

On the first day of previews (yesterday), Monsters Unchained was down 13% of the day (80 minutes).
As of this moment, today it's been down 36% of the day (3 1/2 hours).

Apparently there was a fire alarm go of in monsters today

Yeah, I went in with a little too much hope today but have been making the most of it. Still just need to do Monsters. Which is the one thing we wanted to do so fingers crossed.

Well Monsters never reopened. We had a fun time but sucks we couldn't do the one thing we really wanted to.

Glad you got to experience it twice on the same day (you deserve it), but I don't think that's fair. Should be like Disney's VQ, one per guest a day to accommodate everyone they can.

I pulled in like an hour before park open, barely anyone was using valet (first day guest previews). But the line at turnstiles was already out to parking lot!

Valet is free for Premier Passholders btw. And it’s right at the front of the parking lot, so closer to park entrance than parking or ride share.

Friday we walked over from Stella Nova around 8 am, crossed Epic Blvd and walked though the resort bus drop off area but had to wait at the end of that area before they opened those gates into the main entry way to the park. Around 8:30 they let us into the main entryway. From there, they held us until 9:30amish before they opened the security gates and let us in through security, then held us another ten minutes before open ticket scanners and letting us in the park. Seemed like they opened our gates, possibly before the main parking gates, since we were the first group up to the park gates.

Staying at Stella Nova and walking over was such a breeze and seamless, besides having to wait a little bit, which we were more than fine with and planned on anyway. On the way back, we took a bus only because one just pulled up to the bus station, it would have been faster to walk, but after being there all day, the bus was a godsend

Just a heads up if anyone has those Gift Cards from Mardi Gras (or gift cards in general). You can't use mobile ordering with them. For restaurants like pizza moon, you have to grab a table then go back toward the front to the register to order using it.

I again, am one example. Tons of Epic Universe talk up here from New Hampshire. Adult Nintendo nerds, cousins with young families, and when the commercials played during sports it was a hit. The word is spreading, it seems.

More thoughts to come - but one issue I found across multiple rides today (Dragon Riders, Monsters, Ministry) was that the audio on the characters is too low for the action or movement of the vehicle. I couldn’t understand what was being said half the time on all of these rides. Anyone else come across this?

I generally have had issues with Universal’s audio mixing globally — the Transformers clones, for example, have always been really hard for me to hear dialogue.

I haven't seen anyone write about this here but I thought it a little odd the Chronos doesn't have its own LED tunnel like the other portals. During my first visit I didn't realize it until spending time going through the other ones and when leaving it felt lacking in that regard. Since then I wish it had it too.

Yes, I've night the same thing. What Mummy says in Unchained I couldn't catch properly until I read what it's actually saying elsewhere.
