You keep doing the coaster dirty lolThe HTTYD area -- if built per that concept art -- will certainly look very nice.
I remain somewhat skeptical about the substance of the land in the (hypothetical, at this stage) absence of an E-ticket.
Out of curiosity, what is the expectation for the coaster? You keep doing the coaster dirty lol

Show scenes? Launches? Family friendly like Hippogriff or something with a little more edge like Hagrid?
I am genuinely curious where it falls in the spectrum of rides.
Imagine Slinky Dog cruising thru a Diagon Alley type land (aka not Toy Story Land) with at least 1 show scene, maybe 2. Change your opinion? (asking genuinely!)My bias for dark rides is showing again!
It seems very Slinky Dog-esque, or perhaps some kind of midpoint between that and Hagrid's. Doesn't appear to be a lot of room for detailed/big show scenes, but I haven't studied the permits in an in-depth way, so maybe I'm wrong!
But anyway, I'll rephrase: I think the land needs the show (or some other attraction of equivalent scale with a large cast of dragon puppets or AAs) to fully round things out.
I’ve said it before, but I doubt they would cut the show if they weren’t planning on replacing it with something better. But anyway, I'll rephrase: I think the land needs the show (or some other attraction of equivalent scale with a large cast of dragon puppets or AAs) to fully round things out.

Yes, please!I’ve said it before, but I doubt they would cut the show if they weren’t planning on replacing it with something better.
Some examples of possible changes, (just me speculating):
- Cut monsters show in favor of opening Creature from the Black Lagoon boat ride sooner.
Totally fair! I feel it’s just not gonna be Slinky Dog, that’s all. I could be wrong of course but I don’t think it’s a totally fair comparison as this land is going be too significantly more themed than TSL. The show, or if they improve on an idea rather than a show, will be better or a nice complement. I think the land seems incredibly well balanced right now.Not particularly, no! I'm sure it would be enjoyable, but it's not something that gets me jazzed sight-unseen in the way that "dark ride featuring a dozen full-size dragon animatronics" would, just as an example.
But I'm fully open to the possibility -- as @Alicia alluded to in the post right below yours -- that there may be something else significant coming to the land in lieu of the show, in which case the coaster doesn't have to "carry" as much for the whole of the land.
MANDATORY DISCLAIMER: I'm not saying (at all) that I think it will be a bad ride. The general concept (as far as we know it thus far, which may be very incomplete) just doesn't excite me as much as other things do. That's all.

*at the latestSince that's allegedly how long it will take to build the roads?
Nope. Too many variables still with construction this far out. The big campaign will likely launch during the 2024 Olympics.I assume it’s far too early as they’ll likely get this opportunity again before opening, but with NBC having the Super Bowl and the Winter Olympics this February, is it possible, we get even the slightest tease that this is happening in the form of an ad? I’d imagine they just promote the new Potter experience and Velocicoaster but, certainly the largest marketing opportunity in the near future for NBC/Universal as a whole.
