Finally headed back in 2 days () and one of the "secrets" that's been driving me crazy the past few years is these supposed sound effects of Captain America being killed and Wolverine going crazy. Not sure if this was around the parks earlier years but I've never heard these effects. I'll be checking again like I always do lol but I'm not expecting to hear anything. Has anyone ever actually heard these?

As far as secrets, not sure if it's been posted but throughout Marvel Island theres a couple easter eggs related to Tony Stark. The building next to Spider Man says Stark Enterprises and another building thats more hidden, I believe it's behind the big Marvel Store but I believe the sign says Stark Industries.

Well, have a great time! And yes, the second Stark Enterprises building is facing the lagoon. It's a red/crimson color, and there is a sort of divider in the center of it of a purplish color. Here it is in the dead center (sorry, best quick picture I could get from Google Maps, lol):

There is absolutely no reason to replace Simpsons. The ride itself is fun and the Simpsons franchise is one of the most relevant of all the franchises in the park. I understand that most people on here loved BTTF but there is no reason to replace Simpsons solely because it replaced one of your favorite rides.

Why are people suggesting replacing a ride only a few years old? It's great ride, funny, and has longer lines than BTTF. It should be noted though that I did hear a few people wandering the parks this past weekend asking if the BTTF ride was still there...

Yep that's exactly it! It's a nice little quiet area too, I believe there's some benches to sit on. I'll be sure to be on thr lookout for more easter eggs in Marvel.

So after reading about the Navigator's Club secret, my friend and I thought we would look for it. And we found it!

Here is where the gate is.

All the doors were open!

Because it was raining, we chilled in there for about an hour waiting for the rain to stop. ( it never did ) Theres also bathrooms in there, so if you ever want a nice clean bathroom to your self, this is the place to go. And there are no signs saying anything about not entering. But we loved this place, definitely gonna check it out again next time. Best theme park secret ever!

^LOL, that is so awesomely epic! :rep:

I can't believe they still haven't caught on to the fact that people can enter that place. I mean, the interior light are on and I assume they were before you entered. Can't believe that there's no cameras or anything, or even the fact that no one noticed activity up there at all.

That seems like a no-brainer location for an AP lounge or bar location.

^ Yeah, people have said that for years. I assume they use it a whole lot more than any of us know.

(btw, the dining room with the tv mounted on the wall and it's cord hanging all dingly-dangly: CLASSY)

I've been up there back when they had AP focus groups. (They had the best cookies.) Can't believe they don't keep the doors locked.

Wish I remembered this secret when I was there a few weeks ago, seems like the prime spot to go when it's raining. Has anyone ever gotten caught?

I was caught once by a security guard. I was about to leave the park and wanted to check it out before I left. I had gone through the gate and up the stairs and was looking out of the little window (4th pic) and she came along and told me that it wasn't a guest area. I apologized and walked out. I think in this instance, as long as you play dumb, they can't prove that you shouldn't have been up there because there are no warnings posted anywhere. Still, you should be careful sneaking around theme parks...
PS Here's a vid I got a year later when my friend and I went back up there. No sign of security this time!

That's crazy, I did the same thing BrianC did on Thursday and took pictures of the Navigator's Club as well. Also went through Confisco Grille taking pictures of the various items from IOA islands and caught one item from WWHOP.

If it's not a guest area, then why don't you a.) put up signs saying "Team Members Only" b.) lock the f-ing door.

Its fun to compare the photo you took with the one I took 2007.

Has anyone mentioned ringing the fire bell in Port of Entry?

Am I the only one that noticed that there are Christmas decorations still up on the tallest building to the far left?

That's because it's IOA Christmas themed store that sell ornaments and other holiday stuff.

That makes perfect sense, except they aren't there in the other picture taken earlier.

Has anyone else noticed that there is a smashed "Enchanted Bench" near the bottom of the Whomping Willow?
