Yeah. The average Facebook commenter is absolutely clueless. They are still there commenting it’s gonna be Mario Kart, Donkey Kong, or curious George.

They’re wrong though, cause it’s gonna be Jaws coming back!

For what it is I love Minion Mayhem and find it an adorable storyline.

If only the only parks had used the same ride system as BTTF (not suggesting that the U.S. parks should've replaced theirs with Minions, it's just that USJ has the better screen and motion simulator).

Yes, the Orlando version doesn't work very well on that small screen, in the small theater, since they took away the 3D. With 3D it was OK. Without 3D, it kind of sucks. And ironically removing the 3D solved the Orlando long line problem. Lines are much shorter now that the attraction is a lesser experience. No 3D probably isn't as much of an issue in those larger theaters.

Yea, those massive dome screens were designed for no 3D.

Again. Despicable Me/Minions should replace Simpsons/Springfield. Include this change to Minion Mayhem.

The screen used for BTTF is also curved, giving a better sense of depth and immersion.

This was my exact thought process yesterday. When the contract expires and the time for Simpsons comes, relocate Minion Mayhem there and transform Springfield into Super Silly Fun Land.

Then maybe finally do away with the Hanna-Barbera theater for a new ride system.

There's no way that the Simpsons Ride system and building stays post contract ending IMO. It's held together with duct tape and bubble gum as is. Another 6 or so years? It'll be demoed.

You really think so? If the Minions building outlasts the Simpsons theater I'd be shocked.

Minions is landlocked. Simpson butts up against an area of potential expansion as well as KidZone, and the ride system is in bad shape. I just don't see it being around much longer.

How bad of a shape are we talking? I've definitely noticed how rough it's gotten recently, but Minions has as well.

Do you think they could also demo the Simpsons building in Hollywood as it does somewhat butt up to the studio tour

There's no need for them to demo Simpsons for the Studio Tour. Studio Tour entrance requires an escalator anyways, so it's not like Simpsons is preventing them from doing anything

Slightly tangential, but -- hypothetically -- let's say this VillainCon concept actually paves the way for Minion Mayhem to go away (aging ride system, ride experience has been heavily compromised by the removal of 3D)... could a multi-level dark ride on the scale of SLOP fit in that plot?

That must be some kind of extra strong duct tape
