Speculation is at least a soft opening around March. Universal says it will be open no later than June 1st.

Yeah. Lowes' chairman said it would be ready the same time the CBBR Towers are completed in March. I would think he gets real insider information.

If this is open by the third weekend in March, I'm there. This would fit perfectly with a Disney Cruise for Spring Break.

Volcano Bay and Aquaventure at Atlantis while on the cruise and Discovery Cove when we get back. Yep, I'm there. Bookend the trip with Universal and SeaWorld/Discovery Point.

Notice, no Disney.

I guess you missed a step of the plan. ....Just kidding.......enjoy your future Disney vacations . Myself, I was even thinking of a possible trip to Disneyland for Star Wars. Who knows how long it will take for WDW to finish it at DHS.

Yes, I've read what they say. But I always have my doubts what Team Disney Orlando can accomplish within a time frame. So far, they've really been dragging their feet.

I imagine once VB is complete there will be trees surrounding the perimeter to hide the most of the park to the outside world and vice versa.

I think I'd rather look at that than a piece of desolate land but that could just be me.

What the heck did these people expect. Like, the homes were built after the resort was built. They are quite naive if they thought there never would be an expansion onto valuable vacant resort owned land adjacent to existing park properties. I have zero sympathy for those people. Just like the townhouses behind Diagon. People, what were you thinking when you moved in. You can't be that dumb.

Construction is loud and dirty. Soon, it will be a jungle with waterfall sounds and a few squeals here and there.

The only other option is to go purchase thousands of helium balloons and float your home off to paradise.

One thing I am curious about is if the top of the volcano is being prefabbed offsite. What is the current diameter of the top most part of the current construction? It looks pretty wide still.
