BG definitely suffers from the layout of the park being a massive loop. Similar problem to Islands of Adventure but at least they’ve mitigated that a bit with the Velocicoaster path to skip basically a land and a half.

Except IOA is somewhat balanced with attractions all the way around the loop - BG is now very front of the park heavy.

I had honestly been hoping that this 2024 project would connect the SandSerpent area to the Serengeti Flyer area for future expansion, but I have no idea.

Acres of Jungala back there & Tidal Wave remaining plot. Retention ponds ala Mako. Wouldn't a new age simulator in the Akbar building greatly help the nearby Cobra/Cheetah lines???

I know the Yas location is owned by miral, but is there  ANY chance Seaworld bought a package deal of these theaters for their parks? I believe Seaworld Abu Dhabi is the first (one of) to get "The Worlds Most Immersive Ride."

There is literally no chance. Miral bought the rides for the park, and I highly highly doubt they'd share with Florida in any case lol.

But why? Islands of Adventure was created to kill Busch, flipping the name of our water park while building a dueling montu and launched kumba. Sprinkle in Animal Kingdom... NOW EU!!! If we don't step up our immersive storytelling this park will be literally killed off and just become six flags 2.0. Spot on tho, all this park knows now is weather affected experiences.

Simple. Not everyone can afford the “big two.” More can afford BGT (unfortunately, even SW and BGT are still more expensive than anywhere else besides the “big two.” )

$138 a day. Add in the parking and 5% surcharge on everything and for the average guest it's about the same price. If BGT continues to trend into an amusement park this THEME park will go bankrupt in the next decade+. Most theme parks (regional or destination) have at least 1 dark ride, hell even freaking Legoland has one now!!!

I've come to the conclusion that BGT management want a visit to BGT to replicate an African safari experience as realistically as possible: low tech experiences with 100% chance of you getting rained on, and when it does rain there's nothing you can do and nowhere you can go, so go look at some animals in your soggy clothes and waterlogged shoes because there's no such thing as "indoors" in the rainforest. At least that's a better explanation than anything budget related lol.
Considering the park charges the same prices as Disney and Universal, there really ought to be not just some indoor rides but also a generally bigger focus on quality immersive experiences throughout the park. Instead, of the two story driven rides added to the park this millennium, one has closed and the other has lost most of the storytelling aspect due to neglect.

They simply don't care. History video of Akbars Adventure Tours has over 67,000 views on YouTube. The 2 water rides that could be immersive experiences are from the 70s/80s with little to no theming. Been in line for guest services multiple times and heard people complain about traveling here and having nothing to do when it rains. They don't care.

If that one user is correct, we're getting a Ray Rush style water slide. It would be a nice addition anywhere else, but they're replacing a kids play structure with a water slide? That's a horrible choice and I hope it isn't true.

I agree, but at the same time I believe it’s time for Adventure Island to add a raft ride with some actual thrill.

It should be where Everglides used to be then. I'm still extremely annoyed that they took out my favorite slide there and replaced it with seating.

Yea a lot of areas of the park continue to go unused which confuses me as to why Splash Attack is getting the axe for this while that space and space behind Mango Joe’s goes unused
