Hate to burst your bubble, that section of the teaser was ripped from Philosophers Stone.

What about the brief portion of the teaser that shows the cart traveling at high speeds deep in the vault? Were these also pulled from movie footage, or could they be new animation from the Gringott's ride screens?

Ah. Well, I'm actually glad because it looked a bit basic. Would love to see more detail on the ride, so it doesn't look like a video game. I hope the ride blows us away!

Um, like the FJ video? If they pull the same as that for Gringotts, it will look like a cheap video game.

On another note, wasn't London supposed to be finished/open before xmas? Is this part of what they are behind on?

by open do you mean a finished facade and no fence?

I cannot recall, but I thought it was one of the two; wall down and/or merely finished. There is tons of grounds work to be done before the wall can come down; fountains, planters, plantings etc.

Well we've heard from HTF, who knows more than we do, that they are behind. I'm sure 3 months out (late feb, early march) is when, I believe we will not only see the walls down and facade finished but also maybe some walk around characters teasing folks about DA... atleast I think that would be a clever marketing ploy

Where is WeasleysWW? All I can think after looking at more of the pics on the AM site, is that the WWW facade is directly beneath the shade span.

In the bottom left hand corner of the 2nd picture, assumedly the top of Gringotts, any idea what all those tubes are, some sort of anchor bolts or conduits?

I asked about those when Bob posted his aerials a couple of months back. His guess was they were mounts for a former platform, (I think). With the water under the dam since, I worry that they have something to do with the apparently forthcoming dragon fiasco. :blank:

From earlier in the thread . . .

Teebin said:
What are the rows of (steel?) posts on the roof of Gringott's facade, right behind the front dome?

bobwadd said:
They appear to be rigid metallic pipe with small squares with the corners turned up and welded on. This type of setup would usually be used for a temporary support platform.

Now I'm thinking they may be for a permanent platform.

yeah, but that bridge is 3 stories up, more than enough for the facade to happen as we all imagine it. Too, it just might make decent cover for a flocked top-hat.

I can't wait to see all this in person, we're going in October. I'm sure it will be awesome. but I keep flip flopping my opinion of the bridge.

Given the height of the building and the clip that Universal included in the teaser, do any of our in-the-know members think there may be a guest-accessible second floor in WWW?

I thought some of the CG effects looked kinda dated, didn't realize they were actually from the first movie. Guess that makes sense.

I was wondering looking at these excellent photo's why there is so much detail on some of the rooftop walls?
It are walls that can't be seen from ground level. Will guests be taken higher up in this expansion?

Very exciting to see all the work going on behind the facades, excellent!
