I was wondering looking at these excellent photo's why there is so much detail on some of the rooftop walls?
It are walls that can't be seen from ground level. Will guests be taken higher up in this expansion?

Very exciting to see all the work going on behind the facades, excellent!

Then the question becomes where do you stop? Should we do this whole wall if guests can only see the top half? :pound:

Uni does like to whore out their properties for filming, like the "backlot" New York, Hollywood, etc. and even on rides and CityWalk. I am not sure how useable DA would be though, and they'll have the London facade.

Do you HTF or insiders can give us precisions about the entrance of DA from leaky Cauldron ?

Can't see it from sky , seems to be one big entrance directly from London , not the magical one with rotating bricks ...

Maybe two entrances ?

That bugged me so I'm asking ..

Incredible shots. This might end up being the most immersive theme park environment ever!

God those pathways are so narrow. Throw in crowds and super tall buildings and that's going to be one claustrophobic environment. I'm hoping one of my friends higher up will be able to get me into preview because this summer is going to be miserable in there.

^ I concur, yet we have known for way over a year the near exact dimensions. However, seeing the straight walled 4 story buildings make it seem more like hell than a theme park. I look forward to the reactions.

I noticed that the "bridge" is getting bigger. An additional frame is in front of the one section, you can see it best in the video at 1:48-1:52.

I kind of assume they want the entire expansion in the shade for most of the day. It certainly looks like it will be.

I don't have a problem with the "bridge to nowhere" and its new extension covering Goblin Alley, it just slightly annoys me on the Diagon side with no real knowledge of its purpose. Since Goblin Alley is made up, I don't really care about it.

Not sure if this has been mentioned before but after watching the Prison of Azkaban the other day and seeing how Leaky was in the movie, you thing Uni would recreate it with a second floor like in the movie and have the rooms upstairs set up for dining and that way keep the small intimate fell of the ground floor while having plenty of room for dining?

So it's NOT staying then? Or are you being sincere about that? I'm confused. I need an adult.

It is staying like he predicted and others denied.

Hello, I'm back after not posting for a while, just to remind everyone who scoffed me off for this:
http://m.imgur.com/75VyOWb
...that I told you so. :P

and I'd like to give a thought on WWW as a multiple level complex: maybe, like the second floor of the DADA classroom and Dumbledore's office in FJ it will be blocked off so that all the main visual effects and the Weasley twins can appear up there.

Also, I remember this coming up in a previous discussion it but was never fully resolved. We know there will be some use of a fog wall effect, jet-sprayed so an image can be projected on it, but will this be used to create the classic 9 3/4 wall entrance or will it be used like it was in Pirates and be used to create the thieves downfall waterfall?
I beleive HTF did say something involving mirrors would be used to recreate the 9 3/4 entrance. For some ridiculous reason I'm thinking it might be a giant scale version of this: http://youtu.be/5r5saH4XMp8 but I imagine it would be quite difficult to pull off.

Also, I noticed ReelJustice noted off the covered area because it was part of the "made up" Goblin Alley. Besides the fact that all of Potter is made up, I'm pretty sure most off the shops on the other side are still normal Diagon shops, including the exit shop for Gringotts. I believe all the goblin stuff is themed around the supposed outdoor show area, but I can't remember if anyone specified the exact location and where it was suggested that it would be called Goblin Alley or whatnot. Could someone point that out?

Although it doesn't look like it from the top, as it doesn't need too, I can see now the bridge to nowhere is an elevated train track meant to add to the cramp city theming of the environment, and I kind of like it.

On the 10th hour of Christmas, our insider gave to me:
A circular staircase
3D glasses station
Two themed lifts
A lift vestibule
Bill Weasley's office
A looong Goblins haall!
Security office
4 massive vaults
A marble Gringotts hall
And a circular entry vestibule!

Thanks, HTF, and Happy Holidays!
