I'm not counting Monsters: Unchained out yet. This ride system seems to be slightly more innovative, but if they can really nail the beats and mood of Monsters, I'd say it could be in contention for the park's "definitive" E-ticket.

Monsters is definitely going to be absolutely crazy but I mean in terms of bringing in crowds, popularity.

I did notice some of the eticket china rides are now 5 across vs the 4 across from rides like spiderman and transformers previouslly. Are the e tickets at epic universe going to be 5 across?

Ministry lobby will be my first stop now in Epic, even if the line is hours long - looks amazing

The concept art suggests a 14 person vehicle. 6 in the front row, 8 in the back row.

Pretty sure it’s 12 for Ministry, with 6 in front 6 in back.

Looking at this, the guy in the back row in the reddish shirt looks like he is behind the gap in the front row. If they are sitting people all of the way across the back row, like ToT, there'd be 2 more seats in the back row than the front row.

Of course that assumes the concept art is accurate.

No Kenan in the ride vehicle so I'd take this concept art with a grain of salt for now. /s

I think it’s artistic liberty to show all riders… I’m fairly certain actual RVs only hold 12 riders.

But I still assume that rides will enter in the front on the RV as pictured and not on the side like the traditional SCOOP on IOA Spiderman, Transformers, and USB JW.

I think this genuinely might be a ROTR killer. I also wonder if like ROTR it will be plaqued with frequent technical issues and downtime.

I'm actually kind of shocked at the online reactions (here and other places) to this announcement. I kind of felt like "Potter is over" for so many people between the generation who grew up with Harry being older now and just aging out, and the whole JKR backlash of the past few years, but there seems to be a lot of genuine excitement over this.

I'll admit this was my least anticipated announce since I felt like "yeah, more Potter. I'm sure it will be good, but I just don't care that much anymore", but I was impressed by the "life" in those Paris streets which is not as obvious when you look at the grey/white buildings. They managed to make it feel as alive and interesting as Hogsmeade and Diagon.

I am kind of surprised how many people in the "theme park community" seem to be surprised by the stuff announced since @Alicia has been laying it all out for the whole world for a while now.

I know @Alicia has all the “scoop” but my opinion on these vehicles and them being compared to TOT, I have my indifferences. TOT relies on gravity, not to say these vehicles wont drop us, but I feel they will more “pull” us down rather than gravity. So always need to remember the wear and tear on the “scissor” mechanisms and how long that “pull” can consistently last…idk what Im talking about lol just basing my opinion on what the insiders have said here and applying physics.

She's most compared it to a Star Tours base placed on a track/motion platform.

I feel like Star Tours doesn't have technical issues all that often, but adding it to a track could be an entirely different ballgame.

I mean, Alica has a large audience but the theme park community is a big community. Plenty of people aren't going to know about (or may even be interested) in rumors.

It was definitely my least anticipated as well, but the level of intrigue I have for the ride is skyrocketing quickly.

And as far as the reaction to it - regardless of controversies, Potter will ALWAYS be a behemoth!

Problem is that today there are so many ways to consume theme park content, but mainly through vlogs which are never accurate at all. They all throw rumors (either completely false or without backup like Alicia provides) in the name of being first to say or just click-bait. There's also still a significant "just Disney" fanbase out there that won't even touch or consider UOR.

As fans we might be done with Potter (I'm not), but it's still consistently doing well and still has the excitement of being "new" like it was back in 2010/2014.

I wonder how they are going to handle making sure only paying customers are sitting on the terrace of Café L’air De La Sirène, because in the walkthrough its not gated and those seats are in the shade so I'm very sure you going to end up with people hanging out and taking the tables from those who are actually dining especially on hot days.

Theme Park art always ignores actual items that will be there like queue stanchions, trash cans, etc. I'd imagine there will be planters or a fencing there. That, or Universal intends on being very authentic and makes it a free for all.

There is no fence in the Fly-Through, but there is one in the concept art.
