And while the music is, obviously, not as iconic as the John Williams stuff, the score for the first Fantastic Beasts film is actually pretty good.

I would like to minimize the John Williams presence in order to further differentiate this land from the existing ones.

James Newton Howard's FANTASTIC BEASTS scores are very good.

You've probably heard "A Close Friend" without realizing it.

Cheers to that. The first Fantastic Beasts film in general is also just a good movie, and I really wish it was a standalone.

Could have just been a fun series about traveling the world and saving animals, but I suppose all franchises now have to eat their own tail and expound on the socio-political infleunce of Wuglinton Sluthertottem or some other guy.

Could have also started as a book series before being adapted as a movie and be more consistent with pre-established lore.

Thing is that the world will be from Crimes of Grindelwald and not Fantastic Beasts (which was mostly in NYC).

Listening to "A Close Friend" now and it is pretty nice track.

I think that it is genius what Universal is doing with this land.....come for Fantastic Beasts.....stay for Harry Potter (Ministry ride).

With tomorrow almost certainly being Monsters announcement, would it be logical to predict this land's announcement being 7/31? Aside from being Harry's birthday, it could make for really good synergy with the Olympics...oh, and the exterior of the land is in Paris.

That's been my guess.

BUT, haven't all of these been Thursdays at 8am so far? Maybe they bump it to the 1st for continuity? Oh, who am I kidding, when it's a Potter date they actually always stick to it.

I'm still struggling with the 1920's Paris theming and British Ministry ride? The Ministry ride is either NOT going to be what we think, or they have created a highly incongruous narrative for this land. Will guests be issued a Time Turner? This makes very little sense. However, I'm really excited for the Dark Universe unveiled yesterday - gives me hope that some of the rides will be state-of-the-art utilizing mixed media (ala Beijing).

Entrance IS a time turner?

Entrance to the Ministry has a time turner hanging above it; works like mistletoe?

Or just don’t care, thank goodness the whole area isn’t Fantastic Beasts?

how would it not be what we think? The Ministry ride literally has “Harry Potter” in the name. He’s on the ride.

And they’ve already confirmed the two different time periods on the official website.

“Highly incongruous” is a good way to describe the land though.

Are they going to have a French patisserie in this land?
