Oh I definitely noticed that tile in the video & it is gorgeous. I absolutely LOVED the black/green tile. It was so cool that each room used a different accent color with the primary black.

All I kept thinking was how badly I wanted to be wealthy & have that style of tiles in my house lol

just wondering, have you walked the entire queue including extended outdoor area, every switchback?
Yeah, as Disneyhead that area hasn't been accessible. I wouldn't be surprised if that adds another 5-10 minutes of walk time.

When you're walking through it's not hard to be overwhelmed by how many switchbacks there are if you focus on it.

I'm just curious how lengthy the single-rider line is or if it's a quick straight shot to the load platform

Not me, but none of that is open for TM Previews. Maybe it was the rum and gummies, but I'm pretty sure it was really long.

the 20 minute thing came from someone who did mock services -- they told me they had to walk every switchback in the extended queue. The 13 minute walk was when I went during pre-views -- but I did spend time taking in a lot of dialog and such.

Not to mention those folks also claiming the entire land wouldn't open for months...even while the land and show were open in TM previews...

Game of telephone. Someone probably says “WB hasn’t approved the ride yet” becomes “WB hates the ride, demands changes” becomes “Changes will take months because they have to start over” becomes “I bet WB won’t let the land open without the main ride” becomes “The whole land and ride won’t open until October according to my reliable sources”

But the reality is no one in that chain of people knows the whole story, and we tend to fill in gaps with our own prejudices.

Knew this would be a legit ROTR killer. On the scale and immersion of the queue area, Disney better be taking notes for the Villains E ticket ride.

Any insight if they got capacity up or if she’s severely limited still?

Not everything needs to be a competition between parks.
And in my personal opinion, ROTR isn't even Disney's best ride, so why all of a sudden people think it needs a "killer"? Because it doesn't!

Only members of the media were able to ride. It was operating at a very limited capacity.

Anyone have any sense of how many AAs are in the ride, and who is an AA??

*SPOILER* yes a few details about that from a review I read.

"The ride is amazing. Ron, Hermione, and Harry are in it. Harry and Ron are also in as animatronics. Hermione is just video, and the voices sound good, but not perfect. Umbridge is in it as an animatronic and there are some cool effects to change her outfit into a prison outfit at the end. It’s a little bit jerky, but not terrible."

I just hope they finally open this ride for TMs after today. If they need to use a virtual queue so be it. I'm going back on the 13th so I'm hoping I'll get to ride it then

Never understand how anyone wants their first experience riding a ride while watching YouTube. The algorithm is strong and I’ve already seen way too many reels on my feed of stuff I don’t want to see.

I understand it a little bit. For some people they won't be able to go to this park for awhile. If ever. So the POVs are the only way they'll experience this park at all for the foreseeable future. In that regard I understand. But for the people who are already going to the park (especially this year)... idk. I guess they're too excited to wait. Which is also understandable but at that point I would just focus on something else to distract from that lmao

I assume I won’t be coming to Florida for at least the next 4 years, if not a lot longer. All I have are these videos.

context probably matters here. I didn’t know what to say and I generally get annoyed myself with hype for a ride we have never seen. So now that I have seen it I felt justified to say that you can start it.

My guess is it's like Diagon Alley's contract: The headlining ride needs to function for the land to be open. Universal can get exemptions and such but WB wants to likely CYA when it comes to show quality and brand experience.
