They use the vehicles the first few sets when the park is slower, when the park gets busier they call it.

That is a change then. I know they had been doing morning sets only for all vehicles except for the blues brothers.

They had been walking them (as well as other characters) down the exit of the horror makeup show and out the doors to their meet and greet locations.

The characters still walk to set, they just keep the RV out for a background for the pictures.

With the SuperStar Parade mini shows by Mel's it's hard for them to get vehicles on and off set so they park them on Hollywood and use them as M&G Backdrops.

Is there a schedule for meet and greets then? or are they random each day? and are they always in the same place?

Some might be random but the meet and greets for the characters in the parade are scheduled in the park map.

They are all scheduled in that TMs have the times (TMs are supposed to have a little info packet on them with times) but they are not all on the map

I think they don't advertise the times due to the frequency that they're missing characters.

It was broken to the point that they just got rid of it. They're working on a new one though, but who knows if and when that will come to fruition.
