OK this was a joke a lame one at that, but everyone needs a laugh and a chill pill. Lets just see what happens and then react accordingly.

There's a few Pottercrack-heads in here, everyone needs to take a deeeept breath...Viola don't die

Just think logically, worst case scenario we get to see Hogsmeade, but not FJ.

I think worst case scenario would be that non-package holders won't be allowed in at all. There's no way to guarantee that anyone besides the package holders will get in.

I was told last night when I made reservations for June 14th the same thing that letter says. If I wanted to get into TWWOHP for the preview that I need to be at the hotel by 7:00am, the water taxis start at 7:45. And the gates to TWWOHP would only be open from 8:00am-9:00am.

And I agree with BriMan. I think some of you guys are being a little unreasonable. Universal doesn't deserve being cussed out because it is not open to you now. It doesn't open until June 18th. And being irate that you can't get in now really isn't their problem. They are working very hard at getting this thing ready and they will open it when it is ready to provide the guest experience that they designed it to provide.

So pull on your big boy panties and deal with it.

Again, Universal only promised June 18th. Sorry dude, pretty childish to start a riot over a soft opening.

I completely agree...I'm not dying to get in right now because a) I know it's not even supposed to be open till the 18th and b) I want everything to hopefully be perfect when I get there at the end of June! I've waited this long I can wait a couple more weeks.

Sorry... I'm just frustrated with waiting, and i feel like universal doesn't care about there Most frequent Customers, the Customers that probably, spend the most money on them. I just feel a little jipped out.

Back from the dead! Well . . . welcome back! Thanks for the info. Now I don't have to deal with searching the twittersphere for info/pictures tomorrow. Keeping up with this thread alone is a daunting task.

You have to think about it like this. There must be a reason why UO is not ready for public soft openings to start and quite possibly a very specific reason as to why. If you are tired of spending x amount of money in their parks, then why do you bother to go to the parks? It is their attraction, they have every right not to hold soft openings for anyone. And, I've even heard that soft openings WILL NOT be taking place for quite sometime, so everyone should probably just relax.

I hate that chances are really low this Saturday...

It took me hours of emotional talk with my mom to let me go this Saturday.
It took me a whole month to raise enough money to buy my measly power pass.
I've been spending the last now seven months dreaming almost every day about this place.
I've been waiting for three years for this to open.
It really hurts that the next time I'll go is maybe June 16th if there are any soft openings, and God knows when after that.

But like I have been, I'll suck it up and wait if I need to.
Ugh, such a sob story, but guys, it hurts to wait for me, especially because I'm such a huge fan of this amazing series.
*sigh*

I do agree that it is very unfair that people who paid universal more money through this package deal get to see this thing first. Thats so rediculous. So the really big fans of this kind of thing have to sit back and watch these families with their spoiled kids enjoy something that we have probably been waiting for a lot longer. They really should have made it a priority for their AP holders to see this thing first. When and if they do finally have passholder previews its probably going to feel like a second hand garmet at that point. Universal sucks when it comes to equal oportunities, first with thier express pass and now this, just because the rich folks can dish out more money first, they are the first to see behind the curtain? Damn this sucks, I don't think I'm going to make the trip tomorrow. I'm not going to spend another 3 hours driving and spend $30 on gas again for nothing...

Why cant uni just say to the public that their wont be softs and just clear up the rumors. The same happened with HollywoodRRR. Why do they have to be sneaky , people are just getting frustrated. I dont understand, i swear sometimes i think the people that run uni are retarded.

yeah, at this point Disney would have thought to address the fans
but then again, universal is all about the money at this point, and the more days that go by with no word from the inside the more hype right? I mean we'll all look back on these days and say "I remember when I wanted to kill myself because this thing wouldnt open, thanks Universal!"

Thats the U.S for you. Some of those rich folks have worked hard to get where they are. If you don't like it, Cuba is only 500 miles away from Orlando. And trust me everyone is equal over there, equally poor. ;D
