Woo-hoo! I'm planning to show up first thing Thursday morning now. Hopefully this trend with FJ continues and I can get in.

The first time I sat in a middle seat and enjoyed FJ. The second time I sat on the end and peak around to corner to see it's mechanics. It truly is amazing what's going on behind the scenes.

so does this mean they will kick everyone out of the HP area at 10, or they will stop allowing people to enter the area at 10?

so they are finally letting the general public in? Looks like SOFTS have officailly started. I wonder if this is just for during the week, and only hotel guests will be allowed in on the weekend.

This tells me that afternoons are huge meetings between the various managers of the WW sectors to determine where they are at... what works, what is causing issues etc. One issue spoken here is if they are selling a wand, they need to tell the person that it will not fit in ride lockers and would they like their wand waiting for them when they leave the park. I am also hoping that there are still a few bells and whistles on the FJ that are not completely functional yet.

In the pictures of the goblet of fire, there appears to be no steam fire effect turned on. Is that because of the flash photos or is it not always on?

Queue- 10 An attraction in itself
Ride- 9 only because there's no big finale like in spiderman but it ranks up there with the Orlando greats.
Gift Shop- 8 Im not a gift shop guy but it's pretty small and congested no bigger than the TOT gift shop.
Overall- 9 Like most Orlando attractions it's family oriented so it's not at the top of the "thrill category" but the attention to detail and the mechanics of how it works are awesome. I do like that your not trapped in each preshow. The line just keeps moving. However, people that haven't followed this ride as closely as we did may miss the general story line but they will still enjoy the ride.

Hey guys, I'm only on here for five minutes to ask this: Does anybody have information regarding soft openings? Like, are they for the general public anytime soon? (Be prepared for another death, btw)

You likely could have got in this morning if you were there at opening. hotboyluke says they will be letting GP in with resort guests for the next few mornings, as long as FJ is running well.

Advise for first time riders. Keep your head back against the head rest. Dividers on every seat are there to block out everything that your not supposed to see in that moment. On your second or third time sit on the outside, lean forward and look around. Seeing how the ride works was a thrill for me just as much as the ride itself.

--- Update ---

It's a lot of fun. I thought the detail and the way the ride works made it better than Spiderman but it was slightly less thrilling. When you get off your first response is that was really cool. And you want to ride it again to see what you missed.

Got a question and just realized this. Wasn't there suppose to be a "Build your own wand" type area for the kids? I haven't heard it mentioned at all.

No POV video will do this ride justice. Stop watching them. You have to ride it to experience it.
