Oh those? Makes sense since IFFF is gone (and those flags would stick out in Springfield).

Glad to see USF giving some enhancements to the Simpsons experience! It really is exciting to see Universal expanding!

Just in case anyone was curious what that turbidity barrier out in the lagoon loos like before it hits the water. Had a pallet sitting here in the yard at work and figured it would be my contribution to the Simpsons construction since I cant physically be there

Its pretty much a floating barrier to keep debris from going out into open water. There is a little skirt under the square float body to prevent debris form going under, ranges in size also depending on whether its moving water or or not. This is what is out in the lagoon now and was also for the London waterfront.

Ah thanks. Makes sense. At first I thought it had something to do with the show.

I'm sorry, I gotta step in here...

This is not the first time you've asked about the turbidity barrier. I know for a fact that the last time you asked about it was last week in this very thread. Furthermore, Hockeyman describes what the photo is right above.

What's the deal here?

Do you think they are going to drain that section where this barrier is now? Like right infront of simpsons?

I don't believe this project will be that extensive. This is just to catch any demolition debris. I believe it may be required by law.

Do we really need to start this again. Also he does not say what they are used for, so it is a legitimate question. It is also possible that people forget things over time and would like a reminder

I really don't have to explain myself...however, it's not like we're talking about a 3 month gap. We're talking one week, in the same thread. And it's not the 2nd time he's asked it. What's the point of asking a question if you're not going to even bother to absorb the answer? And as owner of this forum, I feel have I have a right to question someone when I feel there may be trolling involved.

:hail: Thank you, it can become annoying!

On another note, I really hope they do something with the walls because as of now they are so outdated and ugly!

One thing is for sure, I'm not trolling.

On another note, I don't see every response to a question that has been asked. Most times I say "sorry for bothering" or "I don't mean to be aggrivating but" etc. etc. so people who have been here will know all I'm trying to do is catch up. I ask questions because I do not like to assume.

BriMan I know I'm new here so my style of posting may be a bit aggravating. As I said, I'm not trolling or doing anything of the sort. I just like to be engaged and fully understand what you guys are talking about. You all move very fast, you have inside jokes and terms and as a new person quite frankly it's hard to keep up. One thing OrlandoUnited has that some boards don't is engaging conversation that can last for pages, threads and that sir is quite enjoyable. That makes one want to join and ask questions. I'm young and enthusiastic about everything that is happening at the parks. My tone is certainly not that of "I'm right" or "Hey Listen to me" but It's truly difficult to take everything in. You all update frequently. On other sites? Pfft I have to wait weeks sometime. I have to come on this site every day now otherwise you could miss something. I try to stay up with you all so I'll know whats going on you know?

So if you feel me or my posts or multiple questions in multiple formats are trolling then I apologize for coming off that way. Certainly not on my agenda.

Certainly don't mean any disrespect to the forum or it's posters.

HTF, when should we expect to see major waterfront work, after the Holiday season?

Off topic, but regarding FloridaDude asking the same question twice: sometimes trying to find the answer to your question can be hard in these forums. Forums tend to go off topic or are so popular that there can be several more posts after your question and before you get a chance to come back. I have no idea how this VBulletin software runs but is it possible that ALERTS can be established right here, on the site, under our handle notifications? So, when FloridaDude, or any of us for that matter, ask a question, and someone replies, we are notified, under NOTIFICATION, with an alert, that your post was responded to? I think that would end the same member asking the same question more than once.

Now, on topic: I was telling a friend about this addition. This friend said, "wow, how creative." Yes, he was being sarcastic. He then went on to say, "Everyone bashes Disney for dueling Dumbo spinners, but now that Universal is going to add a spinner, everyone is thrilled and suddenly spinners are major additions?" Yea, some people just don't get it.

This may have been asked so forgive me if that's the case....but will there be other storefront facades beside the resturaunt?? I'd love to see the elementary school fleshed out as a facade with Otto's school bus beside it, and/or the powerplant (space would be pretty tight though)

He responded to the question when someone answered it. Not the case here.

Let's just move along and discuss Simpsons.

I'm sorry to say no other major facades other than what I've mentioned earlier in the thread. If you want me to clarify that I can no problem. I just need everyone to know I have no problem repeating myself at all. No need for anymore drama in the thread. Lets just talk some Lard Lad :look:
