This is the most welcoming, easy going theme park forum I've been on.

I think it's posts like this that make the poster feel the way he does.

And from what I've seen (I don't post often) this is one of the least welcoming forums I've seen. I think ThatFloridaDude was just making a point, and in his defense, tone can be hard to decipher over the Internet. Just give him a break.

If you wouldn't mind...please name other times you have seen where we, the Staff, hasn't been welcoming?

Ehhh, I'll just find another forum Tyler it's no big deal really. At least you understand my tone about it. I tend to ask a lot of questions and share things I think so I can have a clear understanding like these guys you know? but just doesn't work out that way haha.

I'm still not quite sure why you're so upset at some people. Everyone was discussing the target opening date of Summer 2013. You said that it'll probably be delayed knowing Uni's track record with Rockit. Others simply mentioned that Rockit was more complex than a restaurant/spinner, that Rockit was one of their only major delays, and that Comcast is in control now. No one belittled you until you acted like BriMan was attacking you when he was simply trying to help. It's a discussion board. If we're discussing the opening date and you bring up the date being delayed, people are going to discuss whether or not they think it will work out that way and why which is exactly what happened.

As for not being helpful with questions, jtsalien suggested an FAQ for people who may not be completely caught up with all of the current knowledge that is available on the project and I immediately jumped all over it despite the fact that I'm completely swamped with finals right now. We absolutely try to help answer questions for newcomers or anyone who may have missed something and I would love to see proof showing otherwise.

Why is this conversation above still taking place? I read through 2 full pages of it. Can we go back on topic?

I'm not one to belittle other boards, but Disboards welcoming? Try posting one negative thing about WDW over there and you are branded and shunned from the community. Mods attack you, and if you attack back, their feelings get hurt and they either suspend you or ban you. Disboards is the least welcoming in my opinion.

Are you talking about the ones in front of the Simpsons Ride entrance (the ones showing the Simpsons characters)?

There is quite a bit of lagoon work to take place. With the planned increase in crowds Universal quickly realized the current viewing options for Cinematic were limited and not taking full advantage in terms of capacity and financially.

I think you guys are taking things personally and getting a bit uptight. Maybe it's because you're new to the forum, so you haven't been around too much to notice that a lot of the humor here is sarcastic, just like that Drama Llama thing. No one is trying to put anyone down. We all have different thought and opinions, and we're all about discussing our points of view. Just because we don't agree on something, or even if we don't agree on anything, just because someone continues to push their opinion, or even nitpick, it doesn't mean that they are against someone personally. It's not personal, and it's not about seeing who is right and who is wrong

FloridaDude, I see what you mean about Uni having issues with deadlines before. Even Potter opened a bit after the original target opening date, but I think we've never seen Uni work at the pace they are working now on Transformers and Potter 2.0. I think we are in a new era. Also, Springfield is different because they are only just rebuilding a part of an existing structure, basically like they did on Three Broomsticks in the WWoHP. Then the spinner is not a type of ride that would take long to install or test. For those reasons, I personally think that this should be good in a few months. Of course there could always be setbacks, but unless something major goes down, I think this project looks like it will go smoothly

Good deal! That area hasn't the best visibility for the show.
