I understand your point... but we have to realize that Comcast is running this bad boy now... and from all appearances? They mean business.

One thing I do give it up to Comcast is they are willing to push the envelope both in TV and Internet technology, and now in the theme park business.

They KNOW the amount of insane money they will be making off of UOR, so they also know invest a little know, and see HUGE returns VERY soon.

I know what you're saying. You're not comparing the timeline for Springfield to the Rockit, just their track record for delaying all kinds of projects, big or small. Don't let them get you down, I've noticed a lot of people on here get very defensive about their theme parks, I've learned it's better to just keep your mouth shut, check out the updates and leave hahaha

It's not even the end of the year and demo is well on it's way. Am I mistaken, or are they reusing part of the buildings again as well?

I wouldn't be surprised if Springfield opens first. Only one attraciton, which is a spinner. So technical issues should be very minimal. And you have to image they wanna get the revenue from the down food locaiton back ASAP.

Dude, relax. Nobody is nitpicking. Just because they don't see things the same way, doesn't mean your voice can't be heard. I haven't seen anyone be rude or aggressive towards you. Nobody is out to get you. This is probably one of the more relaxed forums for Orlando you'll find out there as far as members getting along and moderators letting people discuss things without boundaries goes. It's tough to telll intent through posts sometimes, but I can assure you no one meant to beat down on you.

Right, but a restaurant and a spinner aren't going have the tech issues of Rockit. Could something pop up that could cause a delay? Absolutely. But as of now, all plans are to have this ready for June 2013.

Rockit was the first of it's kind. It had a non-inverted loop that were causing cracks in the ride train. The magic carpet system was having issues. The train was known to valley, especially in unique weather conditions...etc, etc.

I think that the only thing that would possibly delay this are facades and other theming. They can only move as as fas as those are made. Construction for this is minor compared to the other projects currently underway.

My initial thinking. From now until June something could happen. I understand it's a restaurant which is different from a coaster, but I was pointing out UNI has had a bad track record for opening things on time. (From an initial date set by UNI). By all means I'm routing for Uni. Comcast is a different ball game I see.:thumbs:

Other than Rockit, and the Trolley....everything has opened as scheduled.
