Still doesn't matter since I'm an AP. I am interested in how they'll pull it off though.

Trust me I'm beyond impressed, just not able to fully wrap my mind around it. I would think the area surrounding DC will get a good chunk of refurb. It would make sense

Soooo Screamscape is reporting that spinstheworld.com is saying that the "drop track" has been confirmed and that the KUKA tech will be used. Here's the link...

Kuka will not be used in conjunction with the coaster itself.

Kuka may be used in a similar way to the anglur fish in the Nemo ride at EPCOT.

I just had a really funny picture of some Death Eater or Bellatrix figures zipping around on brooms on the end of Kuka Arms.

I would be done with that if it were only one aspect.

That would be pretty cool, but they would probably stay on screen.

Has anyone confirmed if the ride to IoA will be different than the ride to USF (in terms of storyline)? I keep thinking how much it would suck to have to ride in a loop as a 1-Day park ticket if it's the same ride again that you end up waiting for, so I figure it'd be different but I remember someone saying it might be random so just wondering.
Also, progress is coming along on the footers, foundations are being built still and I think one or two more may have been up from three days ago. Interesting to note that every other footer is about a foot-and-a-half taller.

It is all but confirmed different storylines for each direction. If one thinks about it..there has to be some differences in order for it to make sense. In one direction you are leaving Hogsmeade and going to Diagon Alley, in the other going to and leaving the other. There has to be some differences.

I am thinking there is much more involvement from KUKA. They do have the ability to utilize track as well.....

^ Haven't we seen leaked drawings of the Gringotts trains and they sort of resemble Mummy's train? Unless that was a bogus leak.

I hope they use it better than on FJ with the dementors... which by my standard is a stupid joke.

This was the guy that leaked the plans, but the story doesn't seem true.

One park ticket = Ride one way , walk back through themed tunnel / station
IOA to US walk thru kings cross to diagon alley
US to IOA walk from hogsmeade station to castle
park to park distance is about 500 yrds or a 1/4 mile. Who wouldn't want to do that

Two park ticket = ride both ways and or walk both ways
