My guess is this has something to do with the Hogsmeade station, since it will be completely viewable by riders on Dragon Challenge. If in fact it is true that the ride vehicle will only have the appearance of an actual train within the loading platforms, then there will have to be something on that side to hide the exposed ride system once it leaves the station. Perhaps it will be a tunnel and/or or a mountain facade?

Im going with this. BUT even with just a little bit hidden people will still be able to see the track etc..from DC so unless they cover the entire track then its going to be visible. But I could see a little bit of this being covered up and themed

Maybe we can expect something similar to Harry's first experience? (Walking over a fake train to go to the platform of the real train), maybe they can find some way to project a fake train below us, as to make it seem we are in Kings Cross Station, then go down where we go through the wall into what will be the real train, billowing smoke in all of it's glory.

And can we expect the Hogsmeade station to be similar to this?

I don't even know what to say? Is no one impressed by a Highly detailed ride platform NEAR 300ft long? I'm not sure if people are spoiled but to have a station that's APPROACHING that length and full of details is pretty amazing to me. Also not sure where projections, actual football fields, and holograms ever came from either

So one more time here we go.
Station 1
Majority of queue on first floor and leads up to second floor which is where you load. The load platform + a thematic element will APPROACH a football field in length...

No, that's just not impressive at all. Sheesh.

In all seriousness, that sounds unbelievable and am super excited to see how they pull this whole attraction off. Definitely one of a kind.

My only guess is that they are going all out and building a transportation system that is fully themed to the HE.
I'm sure I'm way off though..

BriMan and Hateto are my favorite bickering pair.

But that is pretty damn amazing... I honestly cannot wait to see how this whole attraction will be pulled off. Universal's seriously going to slap some people across the face with these three incoming E-tickets.

It's not that I'm unimpressed, I just can't comprehend it.

Ok so the train platform in total will be 300 feet long, wow, which means that we are looking at about a 3 or 4 car train with each train roughly 50 feet long...if you look at most train stations, the trains never really take up the whole platform either

- - - Updated - - -

Also, would be pretty amazing if the rumor is true that they are pulling off that full glass ceiling above the train:

Thematic element? Seems like a waste of space that could be used for helping us have a shorter wait time....

How exactly will a queue that takes up platform space make for a shorter wait? And technically the longer the train the less wait time. But I heard the state fair is rolling around in February that might suit your tastes better.

I don't think wait times for HE is really going to be an issue. Someone already mentioned the capacity and it was higher capacity than any ride out there. I think that is how they are going to be able to pull off allowing single park guests to ride HE. I think it would be a HUGE mistake to not allow single park guests to ride HE, so they need large capacity to both move people from park to park at the same time allow single park passes to ride it without a huge wait.

The reason I see it being a huge mistake is that if you push people to buy two park passes, you may end up allowing them to spend less days at the park. Spending less days is a loss in both ticket money and food/drinks money. Lets say they don't allow someone with a single park ticket to ride HE, so they upgrade in the middle of the day when they get to HE. They ride HE and do everything related to Harry Potter after riding HE. Maybe they were planning on coming back the next day to do IOA, but since even doing that would not allow them to ride HE, they just upgrade, do everything, and NOT come back the second day and spend more money. They go use their 10 day park hopper at disney an extra day. Because lets face it, many people end up buying more at Disney than they use, for the next trip. Now Universal just lost out on food/drink purchases for an entire day for that family and the price of the second day pass. I am sorry, it makes no sense to lose out on all that money and push people to do both parks in one day. They WANT people spending one day in studios and one day in IOA. Not one day in both.

I would expect the london station might use mirrors to complete the glass arch much like the load station on FJ.

It would only be a $7 loss per ticket, which they'll make up in Butterbeer sales and merch
