Excuse me, care to elaborate? Or just throwing punches?
This has been a discussion on here so many times... But sure,
"its not that much more money anyway"
^Haha...It may not be more money for one ticket, but how about a few hundred thousand tickets?
"people would/will happily pay more for potter"
^Universal Orlando is much more than Harry Potter. Not everyone will be going to the parks in a year after WWOHP II opens just for Harry Potter! Some people might not even know about Harry Potter, you would be surprised!
"You can still have two gates, no need to merge"
^Then what's the point of having a one price for both?? This would create confusion in itself! "Wait, do we have to pay to get in this park tooooo?" "I'm not sure, we should ask!"
"Let some people whine about having pay more that just wanted to go to one park, see if I care lol"
^I didn't know you owned the parks? Sorry but not everyone is going for Harry Potter, people that go every year may only want to do a quick trip to one park, not everyone wants to pay extra for a park they don't have intentions on visiting. They are trying to create an experience here where guests stay longer than one day.
"I've been following this board for 4 years and have really enjoyed the atmosphere. But It seems like these types of posts are showing up more and more lately. There's no need to insult anyone on here for their opinion. ESPECIALLY if your not even going to back up you post with any type of context whatsoever. If you are trying to encourage more people to participate in the forums, these types of comments should be addressed."
Hey, it's a forum and were all behind computer screens! Don't take it personal
Sorry, you have many fallacious arguments here. (AKA many do not follow real business practices or logical ones to say the least!)
BEST WAY TO SOLVE THIS ISSUE?
I've said this all along but it has been mainly ignored...
Sell a commemorative Harry Potter ticket that is essentially the same as a two-park pass, rather it may be a large ticket with a design relating to the Wizarding World. Now if someone has come for the Potter experience, they easily know which ticket to choose.
