This was the guy that leaked the plans, but the story doesn't seem true.

I remember reading that article on NYE and thought it was a nice way to bring in the New Year  So far from that article hes been pretty close to what we are seeing.

This is true, but this is the first mention of Kuka. Maybe the dragon will be on a huge Kuka arm:yikes:

I don't even know what to say? Is no one impressed by a Highly detailed ride platform NEAR 300ft long? I'm not sure if people are spoiled but to have a station that's APPROACHING that length and full of details is pretty amazing to me. Also not sure where projections, actual football fields, and holograms ever came from either

So one more time here we go.
Station 1
Majority of queue on first floor and leads up to second floor which is where you load. The load platform + a thematic element will APPROACH a football field in length...

never mind I didn't read that both the platform and theme element together will be 300 yrds

One park ticket = Ride one way , walk back through themed tunnel / station
IOA to US walk thru kings cross to diagon alley
US to IOA walk from hogsmeade station to castle
park to park distance is about 500 yrds or a 1/4 mile. Who wouldn't want to do that

Two park ticket = ride both ways and or walk both ways

I don't think we will be seeing any sort of tunnel/walkway going from park to park.

A tunnel seems unlikely unless it's like Citywalk.

That is a LONG walk from station to station. Doesn't seem likely.

Easiest way to fix it would be to seperate the 2 park tickets from the 1 park tickets before even getting on the train.

One train car is single park tickets from USF to IOA..the other train car is single park tickets from IOA to USF, and the last train car or two are 2 park tickets

The only thing I can see happening with that is the capacity for the single day line moving at a rather slow pace since they would have to wait for the one train to travel to the other side and then back before allowing to unload and reload

Exactly

One day ticket guests can't be mad since the one day passes will be able to ride still so then everyone is happy.

Oh, you underestimate the temper of an average guest. If they have a 1 park ticket and they can see the other line, they will be mad. They will be confused. They will complain. But guess what, ooooh well! That's all they will really be able to do, so it won't really be hurting anyone. Hell I still get mad when I see people walk by me in the Express line when they clearly deserve it when they pay more or stay on site.

This is going to be mass chaos.
The average guest walking up to buy tickets is going to "I want a one day ticket to the Harry potter park"
Then when told they have to buy a two park pass to see it all
Sure you guys want me to buy the more expensive ticket
When all I want is to see the Harry potter stuff.
When they ignore what they are told (or buy online) and start yelling at the turnsile what do you mean my ticket is not good here
I just bought it this morning.

I hope Universal has a plan for this.

There is definitely a plan in place for this. I can guarantee that every guest, when buying a ticket at the ticket windows, is well informed of what park the ticket is valid at. The guests will be clearly informed that Harry Potter will span both parks. Whether the guest listens or not will be completely on them! There is a method in place to validate that this information was provided to the guest.

They really need a huge flashing neon scrolling sign that blows whistles and launches firework at the Coke screen area at Citywalk that points one way to IOA/Harry Potter Hogsmeade and the other USF/Harry Potter London to really drill it in to those that don't pay attention :pound:

That is great Universal has some sort of a plan of action involved with informing guests. The less confused guests the better for all of us.

And that still wouldn't be enough for guests to get it. It's going to be a major headache, that's for sure.

Surprisingly enough, the worst guests to deal with are the Florida residents. As if there is some expectation that they are owed something. To that, I say that thanks to the entertainment taxes collected by the park (as well as other parks/hotels/entertainment complexes) they do not have to pay state taxes. So who owes who?......... They could have a huge plot of undeveloped land with nothing to enjoy AND have to pay state taxes

Don't get me wrong, I would say 99 percent of the guests are absolutely awesome, resident and non-resident alike. Of the 1 percent, the majority are Florida residents. I have met many FL residents who are great!!!!!

I really don't think the solution to the ticket issue is going to be that difficult, one ticket advertised gets you both parks. Then I wouldn't be surprised when the two parks merge into one...

Im a Florida resident and have never once made a stink or given any cast members a hard time, id like to think im pretty easy going and understanding and don't really like to cause problems for others but im probably in the minority from what you are saying.
