Please tell me more considering Fastpass and Express always cause standby waits to go up.

I think since this is similar load to the Mummy it will have better load time (they have learned since then)
I was at Mummy opening day .Long lines are not because of capacity, but because of high numbers of people wanting to ride.
Mummy is a 15 minute wait most days.I ride it every time I go.

The setup here is VERY RoTM. Just more efficient. Not to mention 8 more guests per side per load

And unlike Mummy, they'll probably always run both sides. They were only loading one side of Mummy when I went in October, and that seemed to be holding up the line which filled the entire queue.

I'll try to keep them all updated fairly frequently, hopefully at least once a week.

I've updated it all tonight to catch up on everything that has been revealed this week: http://www.orlandounited.com/forums/showthread.php?7491-What-We-Know-Potter-Phase-II

Okay, not going to quote things for time's sake. So just scroll back a little if you want to get context.

1) HPFJ does have the Express queue. It has its own Portrait Gallery, then the tracery hallway, Dumbledore's Office, DADA Classroom, Gryffindor Common Room Vestibule, Gryffindor Common Room (Queue Control.) So minus the Portrait Gallery, its just the tracery hallway and forward. They will not use Express for the foreseeable future. As aforementioned, it floods the rest of the Express.

2) RockIt will never use it. 12 people every 30 seconds (at 6 trains, which is near impossible), bearing no belt stops, does not lead to capacity enough to move two different lines. There's a reason Single Riders for HRRR can match the normal wait time.

3) Remember, during Spring Break WWoHP had to go to Land Control. If you think that London won't send both parks back into Land Control, you're sadly mistaken. Expect the Express Lines to be useless during that period. Also, Gringott's may be using a Merge line instead of split Express. Universal has been trying to turn all the coasters into merge lines. I.e Hulk and Dragons Challenge. Heck, even Spider-Man briefly (two days) attempted to use a merge line.

4) Transformers will suffer the same problem as Spider-Man. 2 loading spots at a time, manual car moving, ~21 second dispatches. The Express line WILL be 45 minutes. They can increase the ratio of Express "cars" to regular ones and it'll make the problem better, but only for Express guests. Even Despicable had 45 minute Express waits when it first opened. They had to keep cutting off the Express line because of the demand.

What do we make of this?

RT @Spin_The_World Friday Teaser: "The Floo Network will play a vital role in the guest experience. Especially upon arrival at... "

IIRC there is no floo network inside of Gringotts in the books due to security reasons. The only two places in Diagon Alley that use floo network are Ministry of Magic and Knockturn Alley. It would be kind of strange to go to Knockturn with floo since Harry only arrives there on accident, and there is an entrance to it in Diagon Alley. Could we possibly see a MoM?

If this is true, I'm very curious to see what they do. It occurs to me that the Floo Network is a god-send for Universal Creative. It's a wild card that allows them to move guests between Wizarding World locales that are not geographically connected. All they need is a fireplace. We could enter Borgin and Burkes and be whisked away to the Ministry of Magic, or the Malfoy manor house, or The Weasley Burrow, or even the Great Hall in Hogwarts (Oh how I would love to get a chance to eat there).

Ministry of Magic is in London :shifty: … or maybe this is how we enter Borgin and Burkes (as Harry did in CoS). Maybe we need to help him find the Vanishing Cabinet from HBP without being caught by Mr. Borgin or Mr. Burkes. I thought it would be a little weird to let muggles into a Dark Arts shop...

So very tantalizing! I know you can't elaborate, but I'm presuming these effects go way above and beyond the effects in the Hogsmeade branch of Olivander's? Of course, if we are, indeed, getting a Floo Network portal effect, then that would automatically trump the Olivander's experience.

judging by your word order ("in store effects") I'm guessing it would be in Borgin and Burkes or maybe Weasley's Wizard Wheezes?

Posted this on my thread in the VIP section a few weeks ago

Picture if you will a newer type of technology we saw in effect at Potter Phase 1. It was the first time a tech like this was really used in such an effective way that fell in line with the story of the franchise. Now that same type of technology is being carried over to a new shop in Diagon Alley. However the technology has been upgraded greatly since and will create a jaw dropping effect.

Hmmmm. The only new technology I can think of is Kuka. Now I'm delightfully confused. If it is Kuka tech, I'm going to assume it will be used to move set pieces around and not the guests. So many possibilites...

Im deff thinking Kuka. And if we're getting the floo network I wonder if it'll be an effect similar to Beauty and the Beast at New Fantasyland.

When I get on OU from my phone, which doesn't automatically sign me in, it's so annoying! I would hate not to be a member! :P

I can't wait to lay my eyes on the first piece of artwork that will come out, I know, I know, I will be waiting for those forever!
