Wizarding World - Diagon Alley Discussion (Opens 2014)

IIRC there is no floo network inside of Gringotts in the books due to security reasons. The only two places in Diagon Alley that use floo network are Ministry of Magic and Knockturn Alley. It would be kind of strange to go to Knockturn with floo since Harry only arrives there on accident, and there is an entrance to it in Diagon Alley. Could we possibly see a MoM?

Don't forget the Leaky Cauldron has access to the floo network as that is where Harry was supposed to go when he ended up in B&B.

Well yes and no, the members section sub forum is new but threads like mine that were created for the members to give additional info and photos have been around a good while longer. This is why I was trying to tell people to join if they want to see all of the photos from the updates as well as all my hints and riddles :thumbs:

hmmm... the floo powder thing sounds interesting. I still do not like the Hogwarts Express thing because its not canon at all and I can not see a story line that would make sense. I wonder what the TMs will have to say for that. However, if the floo powder is being used to connect the lands after the muggles get off the train I can see this working. As in you boarded the train for Kings Cross and then used the floo network to go to Diagon Alley.

Picture if you will a newer type of technology we saw in effect at Potter Phase 1. It was the first time a tech like this was really used in such an effective way that fell in line with the story of the franchise. Now that same type of technology is being carried over to a new shop in Diagon Alley. However the technology has been upgraded greatly since and will create a jaw dropping effect. :thumbs:

Anyone notice a few things about this? My first thought is the tech revolves around some type of picture effect. Secondly he mentions its a NEW store so assume anything but Ollivanders on the list. Last and most importantly IMO is that he has once again changed his location almost the same time this post was made. Again to confirm no Ollivanders he has already said the wand shop is coming 65. So whatever is coming to 64F is where I think we will see this very "amazing" effect take place. Thoughts?

Are we talking a complete store facade or a window display? I could see Pygmy Puffs as an interactive window display outside of WWW.

My guess the effect being spoken of is the omni directional sound technology used in Zonkos, where you can only hear sound standing at a certain spot under the ears.

Maybe we'll be inside Borgin and Burkes and one person only will hear a voice and give them a direction to do something, and only they do it, something along those lines, sort of like in Deathly Hallows when Voldy spoke to the people inside of Hogwarts and they all could hear him.
